Was here for 2nights on a 5 day safari, Amazing clean room. Great helpful staff and food. Food was supposed to be buffet however due to it being low season we had set menu's to choose from. Had a monkey come and steal a bread roll at lunch one day. But also saw elephants walking past while having breakfast. Accommodation:...

We stayed at Mara Simba Lodge, - as a family with 2 grownups and two children. The rooms are great for families with big clean rooms. The staff was friendly and helpful, the food was great and the location is awesome. The location is perfect as a starting point to go on a safari in the Masai Mara. We did...

Our room had a good view of the river where we got to see bucks and hippos wondered down to grab a drink. The lodge is a good location to get in the safari park which is a winner! The dinner buffet was good. lots of chioce and its cooked well. We didnt have to worry about going hungry. The...

This lodge is located outside the Masai Mara park and on a tributary to the Mara River. If you accept this is a wilderness lodge, and are aware of the limitations of it location, then it is absolutely brilliant. However be aware: 1. It's location means getting there is not easy (yes the trip from the nearest air strip sis...

We traveled at the end if August 2016 for the wildebeest migration. We stayed two nights at sopa Mara lodge and one night at Mara Simba Lodge. My husband and I had a tent room and my sister and her boyfriend had a standard room. The tent room has lots of lizards crawling about. Ewww!! The tent room was so...

We would have loved to have given this a 5 star review, but can't. The staff and rooms were great but the hotel really caters to Asians. The food was just ok, not the best that we had in Kenya. It was packed and we were the only non asians there. The bar had asian game tables, the TV in...

Spent two nights at this lodge and was very pleased with the quality of the service. The wifi access was awesome! The rooms were very spacious--the bathroom facilities could use an upgrade, though. The children really enjoyed the many monkeys and the pool. The one thing our group didn't enjoy much was the food - the only porridge option at...

I see a lot of wonderful reviews, so I suppose it depends on what you are looking for. I had specified I wanted luxury tent type lodging, so was disappointed when my agency gave us this. It was crowded and seemed like someone let out a couple of tour buses. And I felt I was staying at a Motel 6...

Amazing room very close to nature. You can see monkeys, elephant, crocodile and etc. near the room or the bar. And not far away from the hotel we have seen giraffe and visited Masai village which is very interesting too.

The rooms were very nice, hot water, situated next to the river. But the resort is located far away from the nearest air strip about 1 hour away. Thus planning air travel to avoid the patch of no road from Nairobi turns out to be basically the same. The food really needs improve the quality of bread, croissants, and all...
