Very nice resort. Friendly people and good service. We enjoyed our stay there.
Location also very nice. Food was excellent and verity of food also good.
We stayed there for 3 days and really had nice time.
We enjoyed our stay at the Mara Sopa Lodge. The setting is lovely and the cabins blend in nicely with the environment. Food was of a high quality, which is enhanced by the onsite vegetable patch which provides super fresh salad items to the buffet....More
After a few hours of a game drive with superb animal sightings and a mile or so of absolutely the worst road ever you reach this very appealing small lodge and cabin grouping.
Food was of decent quality and quantity and drinks about the same...More
This was our favorite safari park to visit. Just spectacular. We stayed at the Mara Sopa which was fine, a little worn, but ok. The food was ok and the service, too. The problem is we paid a lot extra to go during the Migration...More

No air con but I was there mid-May and it was quite cold at night, so didn't need it. It was very pleasant for sleeping. A little too chilly for me to use the pool unless it was midday. In fact we did a dawn safari one morning and I only had a sweater (jumper?) and light jacket and I was FREEZING until the sun came up. Not sure if that is typical but bring some layers.
Would agree with below comments. Rooms are very comfortable and cool at night. They do run on a generator which is switched off at night, cant remember exact time, but around midnight so no power in night.

Everywhere we went we were provided with plenty of water and never had an issue. Plus there are opportunities to buy from bars and places you visit. We are people who drink lots of water as understand the merits of doing so... More
