Excellent choice for a safari lodge on east end of Masai Mara. Surprisingly good food. Friendly, accommodating staff. Room was clean & well appointed - though no AC. Rooms are in 2-room bungalows with sitting areas outside the room plus verandas. With No AC, open windows & stucco walls. can be noisy if you have inconsiderate people next door. No...

The highlight of our trip was visiting the Masai Mara and it did not disappoint. While visiting we stayed at the Mara Sopa lodge which was quite nice. The staff were very friendly and the hotel itself was comfortable. We stayed here for three nights and enjoyed it. The road leading up to it is very very bumpy so make...

The final accommodation on our safari. This hotel is nice to say it's in the middle of the Masai Mara but I feel it's a bit dated. A few small changes and it could be lovely. The rooms are a really good size. The bed is super comfy. The bathroom is a good size too. The toilet needs some upgrading...

It was average. The food was very nice 👍🏽 unfortunately it was a little sad we had to sit in a massive bee/wasp hive to eat our meals. One of the poor girls on the table across from us got bitten by a wasp. I enjoyed staying here but don't like the fact that they only run power between curtain...

Stayed here for two nights while on safari. Rooms are spacious with massive beds and a shower big enough for two to share! Had a lovely pool you can relax around and a big bar area The food was amazing, had 6 meals in there and haven't a bad word to say about any of it!

Personally I find this hotel way too basic to stay after a full day in safari when all you need and want is a beautiful and comfortable room to come to and relax.. They are on generator and during the day when you don't have electricity the rooms are very dark! You don't basically see anything. This Sopa Lodge is...

A beautiful place to stay with comfortable beds in a gorgeous setting. You will need strong insect repellent though as there can be quite a few mosquitoes in the rooms. The staff are very friendly and professional. The food could be better. The packed lunch that was offered for the full day safari was dreadful.

We stayed here for one night on our way to Masai Mara. The staff were welcoming; friendly and knowledgeable. The lodge is right by lake Naivasha. A boat trip is a must. We saw buffalos, giraffes; white chested coumarins king fishers; Egyptian geese , eagles, etc etc etc and a green snake. Wonderful boat trip. The last boat trip is at4pm....

The Mara sopa lodge is a small piece of heaven in the middle of the Masai Mara reserve. Courteous staff, well appointed rooms and a hearty buffet spread for meals are some of the highlights of this resort. A special mention also goes out to the evening dance by members of the Masai tribe and the pop up Masai market...
