Ideally perched on the banks of the Mara River, this lodge with just 10 tents is an ideal place to stay in particular during the migration season, as because if you are lucky you may get to see the crossing of the wildebeest from the balcony of your tent as oppose to having to struggle for a good spot at the view point to see this spectacle. We used to have our breakfast on the bank of the river amidst hippos and crocs basking in the sun. The location is serene, the tents are large and the services is impeccable.

Very nice camp situated on the banks of the Mara river. Tents beautifully equipped and spacious with spectacular views over the river. Food good quality especially the evening meals. Excellent guides for the safaris.

We stayed at this beautiful camp with few friends. I fell in love with this place at first sight. The open sitting area faces the Mara River where one can sit for hours watching the hippos. The inside sitting area with bar feels cozzy and is beautifully decorated. The camp has many individual tents which are very spacious, well decorated, clean, orderly and has hot/cold water at all time. We stayed there in the month of March when it was a little cold at night and raining. The staff was genuinely warm, friendly and accomadated all our requests. The chef asked our food preferences and cooked delicious dishes. The indoor and outdoor dining areas felt homely and serene. We really enjoyed the wildlife and safari experience. The staff arranged an outdoor BBQ and outdoor fireplace on

We stayed in Mara Crossing Camp, after staying at its sister site, Flamingo Hill Camp in Lake Nakuru. Again we were not disappointed by the stay and we loved it! It’s in a great location in the Masai Mara, right beside the river where we got to see lots of hippos and crocodiles. We weren’t there during the migration, but apparently it’s a great view for that as the animals cross the river when it dries up. The staff were amazing- Kelvin, Gordon and we loved our Masai Guard who was so friendly and attentive. Thomas looked after our bellies well and made delicious food- the soups are amazing! The staff are really what made the experience so good, they are so welcoming, so attentive and creates a great ambiance. The accommodation feels more ‘tent’ like but with luxurious furniture

We had an amazing time at this hotel. First of all the location: I would say the best location in Mara. Safari starts in your hotel. This is because it is next to the river Mara with a family of hipos living there and a few crocodiles. The hipos climb to eat grass at night time and if you are lucky you get to hear them! It is not a closed hotel, but dont worry the tents are guarded by the best Masai I’ve ever met, an amazing man that is at your disposition 24/7. He will guide you after sunset to the common areas and back to your tent (which is 10metres away). In addition, the staff at this hotel are all great. They make sure all of your necessities are covered, they are AMAZING. Kind people with wonderful hearts that enjoy their work. Without them the hotel wouldn’t be the
