We went for a 9 day safari with Big Time safaris and I would definitely use them again. I'll outline a few warnings at the bottom of this review though! This was my 5th time in Kenya so it was great that at each place we found guides that still taught me a lot and that's down to Big Time... More

Safari with Big Time was an amazing experience, I can only recommend them! We had the experienced driver Richard who was able to show us the best (animal) spots of the Masai Mara. The first evening we got to see a lion family eating a freshly killed zebra. The day after we were lucky to see the leopard which is... More

In the off season standard price is $100 a day but the agents will tell you $120 a day. However when I arrived other people had paid $280 and had water provided. They say everything is included but drinks are not included. They said airport drop off was included but then tried to Bill an extra 2000 tsh. Agent said... More

I've got to say, based on my interaction with Big Time Safaris, I am thoroughly impressed. Their service provides access to one of the continent's best game parks for under $400 all inclusive, which is unheard of in most parts of East Africa. And I seriously have to question the judgement of anyone who gives Big Time anything but a... More

Had a very positive experience with Big Time. Both guides we had, James and Zak were very good and professional. The camp was very basic but what you'd expect from a budget tour. The only downside was the food on the way to/back from the Masai Mara.

Miti Mingi Camp is old and tatty but nice food Nakuru Hotel was closed, we were the only guests, there was no food for snacks and no jam for breakfast just skeleton staff. We were told to take a public matatu for transfer to Mt Kenya and only when we protested was a van provided The Mt Kenya climb was... More

I had a really good time on the five day Safari from Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha. Our guide Patrick was very professional and everything was well organized. We saw so many animals very close to us and Patrick knew lots of information about the animals. It was an incredible experience. Accommodation was decent as you would... More

As others have said before, if you're looking for a somewhat luxurious experience, his is not for you. However, if you're comfortable in getting a budget tour (note they sell it as a budget plan from the beggining), this is a great option. I did the 4 day tour: the first two nights were in a campsite and the third... More

We were really disappointed by the big time safari camp; the place was dirty, people unfriendly and even very impolite from time to time, facilities poor. I have travelled quite a bit and am not looking for luxury places, but this one was really dirty; the moscito net was hanging in your eyes while sleeping, it had big holes in... More

Had amazing 4 day trip, Masai Mara and Nakuru. Got to see the big 5. David @ Big time safaris is very co-operative. Go carry your power banks and extension cords at the Miti Mingi eco camp to keep your gadgets charged. Personally, I would skip the visit to Masai Village. Decent vegetarian food for Indian.
