The semi permanent tents were so nice with lots of amenities within such as hot water, mosquito nets, and plugs. I've never lived in anything like it! It combines the comforts of a hotel with the novelty of living under a tented roof. The people are great and everything is so clean. We heard lions at night so you're right... More

A great tented camp site tucked away in the Mara. We stayed in a permanent tent which had its own personal toilet and shower with hot water! Each tent had its own lock and electricity at certain times. The camp site also had a lovely dining area where you could also charge up other electronics. I would certainly recommend!!

We stayed here for 3 nights. The tents are well equipped and very comfortable. the hotel is located close to sekenani gate approximately around 20 minutes drive. the road is a bit dusty and rocky (this is the only negative part of the place) The nets are prim and proper. Tents are well built. The washrooms and bathrooms are clean... More

We stayed here for two nights while visiting Masai Mara. The accommodations were basic but clean and quite acceptable. The staff was wonderful! Very friendly. The "road" to reach the camp - like all the "roads" around the Masai Mara - was little more than a bush free rocky, bumpy trail. Our safari tour company organized our own cook while... More

Simple base located about 5km outside Sekenani gate on the road from Narok. Location is ideal for late arrivals avoids need to enter the reserve immediately, use this option for a Friday to Sunday visit , perhaps spending Saturday inside the reserve is a cost effective experience as you have a 24hr pass it should be possible to pay for... Spent 3 nights here. A great place, great food and amazing staff. They went to the trouble of arranging a bush dinner and a dance with the Masai worriers, which was a great experience. I loved the place and it was very close to Masai Mara reserve.

Expecting to arrive at a primitive tented camp, I was pleasantly surprised to find myself sleeping in a queen size bed in a spacious hut with electricity (most of the time) and hot water. The hut also featured a private bathroom including towels and other amenities. The camp site has a dining hall with a small bar selling beer, wine... More

Excellent experience - we stayed on a bed only basis so cannot talk about food but the tents were great balance between luxury and safari experience. Very clean. Staff very helpful. Would definitely recommend and would also definitely pay another visit next year.

stopped here as an organised trip to the mara at the end of a 3 week overland tour. Beds were comfortable and the tents spacious. There are showers and flushable toilets within an area of your tent. Water for the shower took a while to become hot but just run the water in your sink for a while before using... More
