I ended up at the camp literally at the last minute. And I wish I had visited the camp before. What have I been missing on. The most amazing experience. From the constant interaction from the manger with the camp clients, to the staff always being around to cater to your requests, it was great. New renovations that blend so perfectly with the environment. Nothing gaudy, chinese or bling that other camps so desperately try to incorporate and stand out like a sore thumb, MBC was a perfect balance of safari specialist, chic, pleasant and just right, from the decor to the setup. The sound of the flowing river and the birds, the intercropping of the tree cover, fallen leaves padding the footpaths, the glimmer of sunlight through the canopy of trees, made one feel when walking to your tents that you truly were in a special place, a magical safari place. Interrupted only by the occasional grunt and snort of the hippos below in the river, this camp makes you feel you truly are in a world of your own. The game drives were amazing, and being a safari expert myself for over 15 years I haven't come across a driver guide as sharp, witty and knowledgeable and the man they call "Sierra Kilo".. The food, oh man where do i start. Piping hot pizza with gooey melted cheese fresh out of a brick oven, with a decadent chocolate mousse for desert.. come on!! In the middle of the mara under a tree and by the river... AMAZING!!! Tents are clean, bed is just right, and the camp are such big believer's of protecting the environment which is awesome and should be fully supported. A big asante to the entire team and management from me and my wife and a big thank you to my booking agent for helping me make the right decision. Thank you MBC!…
I visited the Mara Bush Camp a number of years ago with my dad and sister who were visiting from abroad. I live in Kenya and this was a luxury lodge for me. It was a beautiful small camp and they took exceptional care of us. My father is older and this camp met all his needs to provide a private, bush experience with just enough creature comforts. The food was excellent and staff were all very friendly. At the time they were building the Private Camp and I hope to get to visit it sometime! I highly recommend either camp.
Excellent location and service. The tour guide's knowledge and routes were amazing. I would recommend Mara to couples and families as the rooms are accommodating. The only major drawback was the internet connection.
This was the second time and It was again a very perfect stay at Mara Bush Camp, we've enjoyed it so much. The whole staff was always friendly and happy to spoil us. Our guide Boni was outstanding. We will come again.
Above imagination!!! location, staff, food, tents all above expectation. Thumbs up to the whole team. Vehicles for safari, guides, all were exceptionally well trained and caring. We will definitely want to visit again!
