we went to Masai Mara Kenya last weekend and my experience with Africompass tours and travel was awesome. The lodge was quite good and the meals was soo delicious. i will never regret going to a trip again with Danson Chege from Africompass Tours and Travel. they are such nice guys with an awesome itinerary in your Kenya safari.

They had all the essentials. Toilets, hot showers, bed with mosquito nets in the tent. Restaurant had drinks and food. Coffee/tee all day. Food was basic. Nice scenery/backyard, you couls at least spot giraffes. Cheap price.

This was our first visit to the famous Masai Mara. The hotel is located about a kilometer from the Reserve gate. The setting is in tents with concrete floors. It was quite comfortable and the food was great (the crepes were sumptuous). Staff were quite friendly and helpful. There was hot water in the rooms and our shower worked well....

My no-frills, outdoorsy family and I looked forward to staying here and getting the African camp experience, but we were very disappointed with our stay. Mosquito nets had holes and did not fit around our beds. Despite my best efforts, each night I woke up with more mosquito bites. The shower was a concrete floor with a stream of sometimes...

Visited with my 10 year old daughter. Ideal if you are looking for a no frills but comfortable camping experience - especially time away from the usual urban comforts! If you have dietary restrictions you may want to check with the establishment in advance. The food is a simple buffet but vegetarians options are limited. We had a great time...

We spent parts of 3 days and 2 full nights at the Manyatta Resort. Our tent cabin, Flamingo, was placed on a concrete floor, and the bathroom was all of concrete, with working toilet, sink and shower with plenty of hot water. The food and service were top-notch, as was the British tea served at 4:00 pm each afternoon. While...

We recently stayed here as part of a 3 day/2 night budget safari in Masai Mara. Tourism was off when we were here and we were the only tourists staying here. That was a little odd. However, the tents are good, the attached bathrooms are cement and have hot water and good flushing toilets. I was there with two of...

I spent 3 nights in this camp and have very little to be unhappy about. Let's be fair, it's a lower budget camp, so don't come here expecting 5 star treatment. Staff are friendly, accommodations comfortable, food is definitely not Michelin style but tasty nonetheless. Access to the Mara is within easy reach. I've stayed at more sophisticated camps but...

We stayed here for two nights as part of our safari to the Mara and Amboseli. Tents and common areas are simple and clean but fine for a short stay. Dinners were never great but breakfast was much better. Limited electricity doesn't matter as you're out all day doing game drives, and it was nice to have hot, running water...

I stayed here as part of a volunteering trip to Kenya. This place was so good! Lovely friendly people, lovely food, lovely scenery, felt very safe. The tents were considered luxurious to me as I'd been in a home stay previous to this that didn't have showers! They were clean and had everything I needed. If I ever return to...

“The newly built tents in the down side are very nice and spacious unlike the old tents which are small and a bit worn out.”

“Since this is a budget camp, ensure that your tent has zips that actually zip up or else you will freeze and get wet during the cold and or rainy season. Make sure you bring along a powerful torch or solar light as the generator is switched off at 10.30pm sharp. Try and get a room near the dining area, you feel safer esp if you are females.”
