We stayed here not by choice and were a bit disappointed. The location of the Ol-Moran was good in terms of being very near to the entrance of the park and we saw baboons in the gardens, However, for only a little more you can stay at a much nicer lodge in the park. The staff were friendly and welcoming.... More

Stayed at this camp recently (August 2011). Quality of accommodation, meals, staff were exscellent. A good location close to the entry gate to masi mara park. Note no swimming pool at this location

We already travelled a lot and stayed in a lot of lodges. The olmoran is compared to that in price/.quality the average. The tents were nice, the staff friendly,Some minors are: abig television screen in teh lobby is disturbing the äfrican"ambiance we expected. You are not going to Massai Mara to watch european television on a big screen with a... More

Excellent choice of place to stay if visiting the Mara because: Its close to the reserve (5-10 minutes) Staff are friendly and always willing to chat The food is great (especially the outdoor BBQ under the stars) Be warned that electircty and hot water don't run all the time.

As a tour operator,I've been to many places and this is one of the good ones. The price is definitely worth what you get. Staff are very friendly with everyone having a smile on their lips. It's been said that the little things make the difference and Ol-moran have really taken that into account:as soon as you reach there a... More

The camp was well set out with some old and some new tents. We had a new tent that was very spacious but hot water was a bit of a problem. Keeping the generator on throughout the night may have disturbed other guests so we told them to turn it off at the appointed time. This prevented the use of... More

I didn't know what to expect when I booked a a safari with a stay at a tented camp; my stay here exceeded my expectations and those of my travel companions. We were greeted warmly by staff and given complimentary juice upon arrival. The lodge and surrounding areas are beautifully landscaped. Our tent was clean with attached washroom and toilet.... More

There are wonderful places to stay in the Mara, friendly staff and great food. THIS IS NOT ONE OF THEM. I was in one of the newer tents...no light in the toilet, no hot water in the shower. The food was mediocre and the staff acted like they couldn't wait for us to get out of the dining room. Although... More

The grounds the camp are set in is in the heart of the Masai Mara and are amazing, like being in the wilderness and very relaxing. I liked wandering around the grounds or sitting around reading a book... More

After looking through the camp brochure we were given before our safari, we were looking forward to our stay in this camp but unfortunatly it didn't live up to the photos, although the tents were clean and comfortable and the bathrooms more than adequate the dark canvas made them very dull inside even in daylight. The generator which provides electricity... More
