For short business visits to Nairobi, I recommend this hotel which is in a very busy street in the City's central business zone, food is international , the place is rather noisy but this might not distract your planned client meetings as their interiors are quiet. It's also a nice BB for those wishing to have a stop over in Nairobi before heading to other upcountry sites
Not a fancy nor modern hotel but it is great value for $25-$26/night for a single and $35 for a double. On a busy street but the back rooms are on an alley, which is a bit quieter. HOWEVER, there is a club back there and they go until late on weekends. The best time is weekdays, when the music ends earlier.I Rooms have one outlet for charging electronics. Make sure you have the 3-prong adaptor to stick into the wall outlet. There is a restaurant in-premises nd there are local places a block away. If aren't aware, traffic, both foot and auto, is brutal in Nairobi most of the time. I was in rooms 108 (single) and 209 (double).
We stayed one night here after our safari as we wanted something central for matatu stand as we were travelling to Tanzania the next day. This hotel was perfect for what we needed, good location, friendly staff, lovely room and well priced. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
The staff was amazing! The receptionist in particular went out of her way to ensure we had a great stay and was so sweet. The rooms were clean and pleasant. The breakfast was not great but you can't beat the price or the location. Highly recommend.
My wife and I needed a place to put up for the night before heading out to another town. The guard helped out carrying our heavy luggage. Terry at the reception was very professional, accommodative and was more than willing to assist where need be. We paid online via Jumia and there was no hustle checking in. We got room 108, very quiet and ok. Great hot shower indeed. Wi-Fi working OK. Nice clean sheets and strong spring bed. 1 downside(a minor): there were neither bedside mats nor bathroom door mats so water somehow was all over the place after showering. 2 pair of Sandals were provided for though! For us, it was a very late check-in(midnight) and early checkout(5am) so I don't know anything about their breakfast nor their dinners. Taxis(cabs) are readily available right at the main entrance as well so no hustle whatsoever. (I used Uber though). For a double room price and if on transit, I highly recommend. …
