This place has had an unbelievable upgrade. The rooms and interiors are classy and the breakfast spread is awesome. Simply the best 4 star hotel in the area and it outdoes its bigger and older rival the Panafric hotel opposite. Good value for money plus the rooms and beds are 5 star. You will always be back !!

I stayed here on two separate occasions in June of 2016 and experienced both the good and bad. First the good: clean rooms, great beds, amazing pool, fantastic breakfast. The bad: 1) On my first stay, I requested a pick up from the airport--they told me "no problem," thirty US dollars--"great" I replied. Of course, no one was there to...

It was one of those lazy weekends and we decided to go our for lunch. Heron Portico was the place we ended and we were not disappointed at all. We were received by the Front office staff and shown to our table where our orders were taken and within minutes our meals were ready. Delicious and well presented.
