I stayed in this hotel twice at the end of November and early December 2010, each for one night (or few hours) due to the arrival and departure times of my flight. When I booked it I knew that it was a budget hotel and I wasn't expecting much. I booked it because I was going to sleep only for... More

we did not have any great expectations about this hotel because of the low price in relation to its location-right on the edge of the downtown core. The rooms were clean and the facilities acceptable due to the price range. The people who worked there however were unfriendly, unhelpful and downright rude! The only person who I cannot question his... More

This place is pretty basic but comfortable and very good value. If you're arriving in Nairobi from Arusha on the Riverside shuttle the location is unbeatable, being just across the road from where the bus stops. Rooms are available on a B&B or bed-only basis. We were departing at 4am so didn't get to try breakfast but if it is... More

The hotel was clean and next to the shuttle station to Arusha. People there were very nice. Considering that it is a low budget, no frills it was ok

We stayed in the Parkside on 3 seperate occasions over a month, and each time had a comparible room, and recieved similar levels of service. Key points for me: - Each time we stayed we opted for a Superior Room. They seemed a bit bigger, and had a bigger bed - Rooms were always spotlessly clean - We did not... More

I intermittently stayed here for a week, in January. I was very pleased to find such a reasonably priced hotel in such a central location with good security. I stayed in a basic twin, which was clean enough, with hot showers and comfy beds. The reception staff were reasonably friendly, but I also chatted to the chamber maids who were... More
