I was on a girls trip and we stayed at the Paneri Hotel from May 3-5th. We had a great experience. The hotel buffet was delicious and also the a la carte menu. The rooms was clean and comfortable. The reception staff was always available to help us when needed. We also felt safe at the hotel with 24 hr security.

Only 7.7km from the airport, about 10 minutes drive, I checked in on 7th Feb at 2am and the staff were as fresh and as alert. The bed was really comfortable for a praceful sleep waking up to a proper shower and using pampering white towels. Excellent breakfast with everything you look for in a buffet. I lijed the gizzards which were well cooked. The concierge both on arrival and departure were most helpful and kind. All value for money and am certainly going back to the hotel. The hotel charges $20 for airport shuttle whilst a taxi just nearby the hotel chages $15.

Awesome staff, great rooms and amazing food. Check in procedures were friendly and included a package of a sanitizer gel, masks and wipes. The rooms were extremely quiet and cozy. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food on offer was awesome. Menu changed daily with a chef on standby for orders. The swimming pool and gym and sauna were free but the pool is generally very deep even on the shallow end for general swimmers.

We were forced by the government to undertake a period of mandatory quarantine once we got back to the country. The company put us up at Panari hotel. This was very short notice for the hotel, which seemed to have been in the process of shutting down due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The first two days were not very comfortable, especially because of the food situation. The kitchen had been closed and the staff sent home, so they had to be recalled on short notice. By day three, the food situation had immensely improved.
The rooms are comfortable, with a standard double bed, wall to wall carpeting, an LCD TV, reading desk, decent air-conditioning and a bathroom with a W/C, bidet, and a shower plus bathtub combo. My four star rating is because the room decor is very early 2000s, and it shows, and the curtains provided are not black out curtains. This could pose a problem to light sleepers, especially during the day.
Other than that, the staff are excellent! Service, politeness, proactivity get an A+ from me, especially considering the pressure they may have been going through due to COVID-19.

Absolutely loved my stay at Panari. Rooms are so comfortable and nice. Their service was really good as well, very respectful and kind and welcoming. I asked for room service because I was so tired at the end of the day and it was so interesting how they tried hard to make sure I was content with my food choice. Would definitely stay there again.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The pool is nice for relaxation. Rooms are spacious and well-designed. Food is AMAZING. The location of the hotel is close to the airport so the access is very convenient.
Services like dry cleaning are available at a very logical price. Overall I loved my stay there.

The hotel is in the perfect location - close to the airport but not close enough for the noisy aircraft sounds, which is very nice. The airport pickup shuttle is a great convenience. The rooms are spacious and accommodating. Very well done. Food and beverage options and service is great. And best of all, the staff are all very nice, providing great customer service.

After our trip to the Maasai Mara, we booked two rooms on a day basis ahead of our night flight back to the UK. The Panari proved to be an excellent choice, around 10 minutes from Wilson Airport and 15 minutes from Jomo. The staff were professional and well trained, the rooms modern and clean with good wifi and we had a lovely lunch at the Black and Gold restaurant downstairs. A perfect place to rest before our journey home.

The Panari is a great property that overlooks one of the wildlife preserves in Kenya. All of the staff we came in contact with were friendly and very willing to accommodate you. I have to give special shout outs to a few of the staff that made stay very enjoyable: Fondo - works in the Black / Gold hotel restaurant. He was very friendly and quick with his service. He was able to answer any question we had about the menu. Ms Lucy works there as well and was very pleasant and hospitable to ensure any of our needs were met. Chacka? the door man was truly a pleasure to see upon arrival with his assistance and pleasant conversation. Paul and Peggy who also worked in the restaurant were a joy to see as well. The restaurant staff made our stay worth returning to each time. The Panari has a Chinese restaurant on the 2nd floor and we all agreed that we wished we would have just went to the Black / Gold that night as well. One example is the fried wings were totally over cooked not once but twice and the chicken looked old. Going to the Black / Gold for breakfast every morning was a better option than doing the inclusive breakfast buffet at about $15 a day vs. the average of about $7 to go to the Black / Gold. Dinner was great as well. The rooms were nice and the only issue I had was there was stale smell in my room every time I entered but I guess I got used to it and couldn’t smell it after while. It may be in the carpet which was a little dated. The Panari would be a great family hotel, as they have a large indoor pool, the 1st ice skating rink in East Africa, and a cinema with a concession stand. You can arrange for a visit to the Giraffe Centre and the Elephant Orphanage as well with pick up from the hotel and transport back to the hotel. Overall, I would recommend the Panari and definitely would come back again.

We organised accommodation and meals for 16 people who were attending a corporate event. The guests were received very well at the airport. Despite multiple flight delays the Panari team handled managed the airport transfers seamlessly. Guests enjoyed their stay, the meals and the overall service. They also had access to the cinema, fitness club and skating rank within the same building. I would highly recommend Panari Hotel for corporate bookings.

You will not find piki piki's at the airport as those are not allowed to enter. With 6 hours to go and given the distance to the Panari, you should be able to make it. Decide for yourself if you wish to have your baggage checked through - I suppose you will use Kenya Airways for the two flights or just have it checked to Nairobi first, get it from the domestic terminal and then check in again. Remember please you need to be at the airport again two hours before departure which leaves you at best 2 1/2 hours given the arrival wait for the bags off the Kisumu flight and the trip to and from the Panari. Hope this helps.
