Chris and the staff provide a great experience and wonderful service. The food is very reasonable, the location very secure and the staff well trained. I ride a motor bike, Honda xr650r and have had Chris and the team service my bikes for two years. Price is write and Chris is a BMW trained mechanic. His garage is well equipped,... More

...as only every now and then you find a amazing place or amazing people surrounding you. JJ's is both in one. Great homemade natural food from Diana, top of the notch tips from lifelong traveller Chris, a pack of travellers coming from all directions and nationalities. If you're in a good mood, you'll love it, if you're in a bad... More

We stayed here in 2009 and really battled to get away. We referred to it as Jungle Fever. Chris was so helpful and meeting up with other travelers was incredibly helpful. We stayed for nearly 2 weeks, went to Uganda and returned for another week!

We recently dropped in to JJ's for a few days as part of a trans Africa trip. This place is great. Situated in Kongoni road in the suburb of Karen you can camp or use a room in the house. The bathrooms are very clean and adequate, Chris, the owner, has a workshop that supports repairs to bikes, cars and... More

This campsite is truly a marvelous stopover on any trans African trip. Christo and his family and staff were welcoming and truly helpfull with everything we required. We had both motorbikes serviced by the workshop here and got some good advice for the repairs to my Toyota that I did myself. The campground is well appointed with shady trees and... More

I got Chris's number from another website and went there for motorbike repairs. Although Chris normally works on the much bigger bike he did an excellent job sorting my issues out and charged a very fair rate. He has good facilities and tools for working on bikes and is a trained BMW mechanic. Mine was a Yamaha but he handled... More

In addition to the other glowing reviews of Jungle Junction, I really do believe this is an extraordinary facility. It's super-clean, friendly, well located and it fulfils all of the needs of travellers. The wi-fi is reliable and very fast, the owner (Chris) charming and friendly, and the staff polite and dedicated. Jungle Junction is also affordable! The dorm rooms... More

The perfect stop for the independent traveller passing through Kenya. Choose from one of the double rooms or a dorm bed if you want a break from sleeping in your tent or roof tent, whether you are travelling by 4x4 or bike. The large and spacious communal room is kept immaculately clean all day, a log fire lit if the... More

I planned to stay at Jungle Junction for a few days to make use of the workshop facilities but the welcoming atmosphere and the collection of diverse, like minded travelers had me stretch my stay to almost two weeks. The expertise of the mechanics onsite and the owner, Chris Handschuh, proved invaluable in getting my bike up and running. Combine... More
