I stayed here 3 separate times during the course of my visit to Kenya. It is very close to several Nairobi attractions (Giraffe Centre, Sheldrik Wildlife Trust, Kuzari Beads, Utamaduni Craft Centre, and Marula Studios). Each time I stayed I received great service. I loved that hair conditioner was provided in the room, this was the only place that provided...

Our stay at Macushla House was pleasant. The room was comfortable and we were able to rest up from our long journey from the US. Since it's a little more remote than some of the accommodations in Karen, there was wildlife all around. Especially evident were the birds and a troop of vervet monkeys, who seemed to love climbing on...

This charming little hotel is ideal as a jumping point around Karen. The rooms are lovely, in a gorgeous garden setting where the monkeys run wild. The staff are exceptionally nice and helpful. Breakfast, which is included, is perfect, and don't hesitate to grab lunch or dinner. fully stocked bar and great wine options.

We spent a terrific couple of days at Macushla House before heading off on safari. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Relaxing in the garden is a nice getaway from Nairobi's noice and traffic. Staff are very helpful. We had dinner upon arrival, which was very good. Breakfasts are ample and tasty. I highly recommend staying at Macushla House.

After a long flight, it was a delight to arrive at Macushla. Friendly, helpful staff, lovely food and a comfortable bed. Perfect for an overnight stay on our way to a safari adventure. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

We were lucky enough to be the only two couples staying at the Macushla House upon arriving to Kenya. Beautiful grounds and decor. Staff was friendly, amazing service, fantastic food - would stay again in a heartbeat!!!!

Beautiful setting, quiet, outstanding gardens, and lots of monkeys, located near the giraffe center. The food was fresh and tasty. The knowledgeable staff was friendly. The room was large, netted, comfortable. I will return on my next trip.

Quiet house, off a side road in Karen. Quaint building with some quirky decoration. However clean and staff were friendly. Lovely birdlife in the garden as well as some playful monkeys. Walking distance to the Giraffe centre, and most the attractions in the Karen area are 5-10mins away by car.

I stayed here for 10 nights in October 2015. It was a wonderful experience. The hotel room was spacious and tastefully decorated, with mosquito nets around the very comfortable bed. The property was beautifully designed and decorated. The staff was able to provide assistance for tours; I went on a different tour nearly every day. The food was great and...
