This was a delightful visit. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was good and in general we had a great time. We stayed here for two days prior to going out to the safari camps and again on the return trip prior to going to the airport for the trip home.

First stop in Kenya was Nairobi and I stayed at the Hemingways. As soon as you go through the doors, you enter a different world. The staircase is beautifull, the views amazing. Very silent. The rooms are named after a person, I was at the Meryl Streep Suite in the Hollywood

There is a small exercise room with tread mills, stationary bikes, etc. I found it suited to my needs -- a 30 minute trot on the treadmill to help ward off jet lag. Follow the signs to the Spa and the attendant will let you in.

yes, you can use the tap to brush teeth. for drinking i used the bottled water. there is a fitness center. for the spa I believe you need to pay for services. If its not too busy they will allow late check out (sometimes)

Bottled water is complimentary, all you want. The spa is for massages etc. So you will pay for the services.

When I was there check out was officially 10 am but they were flexible with us. I’m sure they can accommodate but assuming you’re flying there, the way the flights work is they leave at 11 from the airstrip, don’t really have any flights that leave later from what I saw. So unless you drive there yourself (the manager didn’t recommend), you’ll probably have an 11 flight and won’t need to check out late. Would also recommend booking through a travel agent. We tried booking our trip direct ourselves and the logistics were a pain to try and figure out
