My arrival into Nairobi was late evening and my friend was arriving early next morning, so we needed a gathering point before heading out on our holiday. The folk at Giraffe Manor recommended The Boma. The hotel met me at the airport. Th driver was a friendly, happy person who efficiently dealt with my luggage and chatted with me on...

My family arrived in Nairobi late in the evening after flying for about a day. We were exhausted and found the rooms comfortable and conducive to sleep. The next morning we had a wonderful breakfast and departed for the next part of our trip. We stopped back at The Boma after spending time in two camps and we all were...

The hotel is quite spacious and nice. But I always wonder why the hotels in Kenya do not have an iron in the room ? It wouldn't cost much. Especially if they want to call themselves business hotels. The food spread in the Buffett can definitely do with some variety and improvement. Otherwise overall it's a nice hotel

First visit to The Boma (not to Nairobi but due to Obamas visit my usual place booked up by the U.S. Secret Service) and took the opportunity to stay here and will return over my original choice for the future. Despite my airport transfer not turning up (and having had confirmed this the day before) I can't fault the rest...

First hand experience is unpredictable. Even with reviews you still open to surprises. And Boma hotel holds many. First it's links with Ref Cross leaves you with an imagination of sleeping on a stretcher. We know this guys for saving lives really. But they have a surprisingly good place. Superb rooms, wonderful beds (seriously look at the picture & they...

I had a very pleasant stay at Boma Hotel. The staff are extremely friendly and accomodating. The rooms are adequately equipped and comfortable. During Ramadan I was catered for as far as halaal food, iftar and suhoor which made it easy for me. It's also near to the airport which is useful in view of Nairobi's traffic. Wifi very useful....

The Boma is outside Nairobi so you avoid the horrible traffic getting to other hotels inside the city downtown areas. I stayed a few days at my favorite Norfolk but the traffic to get there is unbelievable. My new choice is the Boma. Excellent accommodation, clean, well run. Staff was so nice and very helpful. Brand ew also.

Nice place the proximity to JKIA and Nairobi national park makes it ideal for the connecting travellers in Nairobi. It has good conference rates and has a rich artistic feel. The interior design is well thought out with beautiful abstract paintings and sculptures. The buffet meals are reasonably priced at roughly USD 27 The pool is solar heated and the...
