Great great food! I was there with a large group of people. The managers planning &ideas were literally imposed on us as opposed to doing what we, the client wanted. They charge for use of their tables, chairs, napkins, cutlery, etc which I found odd considering its a restaurant... I mean, was i supposed to carry my own chairs to the restaurant? Also, they close very early due to being in a residential area which I do understand, but they literally switched off the lights & denied access to bathrooms to chase us away. One of the managers was drinking and he was drunk as he bid us goodbye. I thought that unprofessional. I would recommend the place for a small get together for lunch or dinner as they have good food & service. Despite the already high pricing, be prepared to cover weird unusual costs that they will 'justify' e.g. they will tell you dinner is 'x' amount but when the bill comes, its higher and they will say the 'x' cost did not include VAT. I am definitely never going back! I've never had such a poor experience dealing with a restaurant in my entire life. Please be wary of hidden costs and make sure you find out every detail before making a commitment.…
I had my babyshower there on the 31st of August and was impressed...all the services were 5 star.the chef was at it! very good food and friendly staff will definitely come back!I definitely recommend this place for an event
Beautiful room, excellent service, excellent food, close to UN, nice refreshing pool in a beautiful garden. Robert and Kambua are excellent hosts and the staff at the Bedelle is impeccable. Only inconvenient was the Internet wifi connection which most of the time did not work in the room. But it worked fine in other areas such as the living and dining rooms and in the garden.
We stayed here after a long two weeks of travelling around Kenya and Uganda, when we turned up the suite we had booked turned out to be the presidential suite which was unbelievable! We had a very warm greeting and felt at home straight away. We only stayed for two nights but we wish we had stayed longer because of the service. The food was very well thought out and constructed and catered to all our needs. The grounds were beautifully maintained as were the rooms etc. Robert, the owner was very courteous and took time out of his day to speak to us and ask how our experience was going. I would highly recommend anyone stay here. Excellent service, great faciltities and the home away from home you need,
Worst place to hold an event people locked outside yet they came to celebrate someone wedding.very arrogant and bad attitude from management and other stuff members switched off the music started collecting chairs why take money yet turn out someone events worst thing ever. It such a bad place to hold an event. It was my worst experience ever visiting the place
I selected the hotel on a whim from a list that was recommended among many others for UN staff for long term stay and I hit the jackpot! The ambience, amenities, hospitality and the FOOD was absolutely of the highest quality. The owners and the staff including the chef made sure that I enjoyed my stay throughout. I looked forward to returning "home" every evening after work!
Nasty attitude from the owners such that it has spilt over to the waiters. Locking guests out without explanation, very cold and mean treatment to people who are wedding. That is so uncivilized...how about charging per extra? Worst experience ever. Switched off music, collected the seats from the venue and wanted to switch off lights so people can leave. The evening party was supposed to be there but you chase people out? Why take money if you won't keep your end of bargain nor be flexible to eventualities...refusing to sell drinks from their bar for a drink that wasn't in the outside bar. Can't write it all...the worst place to hold an event.
We have spent 4 nights there with my partner and enjoyed every minute of it, mainly thanks to the wonderful staff who are always keen to help and very friendly. The hotel itself is in a beautiful and quiet setting, close to Gigiri, the UN, Two Rivers Shopping Mall and Village Market. Ps.: The food is spectacular, make sure you try the guacamole in the morning!
The privacy, the food and the service was wonderful. The bedelle is excellent for photo shoots and for couples who want some privacy and silence. i would recommend it for intimate parties and anniversaries
On the 3rd of March 2018, the Bedelle was a one-stop-shop for our garden wedding. We did the church ceremony, a cocktail event, the reception, the evening party, a photoshoot and we even slept over at the stunningly beautiful boutique-hotel. It still excites me when I recollect how the team at the Bedelle took extra care of us and our guests to ensure that our special day went on smoothly. Kambua and her husband, Robert, made sure that despite the rain (that came down in torrents), we still had the time of our lives. Beautiful tents had been pitched where we initially didn’t anticipate to have tents; and when the heavens opened up, the sound of rain on the roofs actually added to the magical appeal of the whole event. The décor at the Bedelle was immaculate! Everyone who attended our wedding has been telling us this when they meet us to congratulate us on our union. I would a million times over recommend the Bedelle as an ideal venue for an intimate, small to medium-size wedding like the one my wife, Maureen, and I had at the Bedelle. Well done guys and keep up the world-class standards.…
