Just spent almost a week at the Safari Park Hotel in Nairobi. Was on a business trip, so limited time to enjoy the city. Positive: Lovely rooms, great hospitality, bathing facilities are fabulous, and the gardens and space are an oasis in this busy city. The food in the Pizzeria was amazing, thoroughly recommend and the staff were so friendly... More

I spent 2 nights at the Safari Park attending a conference. The grounds are magnificent, big beautiful trees, flowers, pools and ponds and huge space to walk around in a very safe environment. Having tea in the balcony early in the morning under the sounds of birds was certainly a highlight. The rooms are spacious with a grand four poster... More

I attended this year IA2016 and stayed at the Safari Park Hotel and Casino. As an international traveller, I found their staff very professional, going of their way to make our stay memorable. For instance I asked the maintenance guys to help me locate my room and they simply stopped their work, took my bags and walked me to my... More

We were right in time for the show which has some amazing local dance. It's a experience for first timers to Nairobi Kenya. The serve buffet and alacarte do the buffet if your a hard core meat eater. They charge 1000 KES per person if your there for the show which I was told does not adjusted with your food... More

Beautiful Hotel with lodge theme. Pricey though as a transit for safari tours. Rooms are a bit dated but fine none the less. Recommended for a short holiday stay, but not good for business as too far out of town. If you are after relaxation and calm away from town you'll enjoy it.

Yes, the grounds are nice but the rooms are not worth the price. The buildings and appliances are old. The walls are thin. There is no heater or AC or fan in the room. Basically you cannot control the temperature in the room. The toilet does not flush well. You'd have to push down on the knob on top of... More

It has been 2 years since we were last as the Safari Park Hotel and it has not changed. The gardens are beautifully kept and you feel like you are back in the 60s. Big rooms but the beds are very firm.

Our conference was in the Mt Elgon building, which itself is nothing to write home about. But the Safari Park folk know their hospitality job well, and you can be assured of successful events here, well looked after by the staff. I always look forward to the lunch buffet, except that it's so hard to say 'no' and hence avoid... More

The hotel has beautiful gardens and grounds. The food, especially the meat was delicious and served hot. All the staff make a genuine effort to ensure good service. However, the rooms need refurbishing, especially the bathrooms. the drains are smelly and at least 5 people in our group expressed the same complaints, or had faulty toilets. We were not given... Strongly recommend it for business and holidays. The rooms are spectacular, the food is delicious and the service is excellent. It is a mixture of wonderful nature with wooden building styles. Just AMAZING 😍
