Have stayed here countless times during the last few years, both on business and when transiting Nairobi as well as for odd weekend breaks and have always received a very warm welcome. Staff members are all extremely helpful and go out of their way to give assistance if it is required. The hotel is set in beautiful grounds and there... More

First-time at Fairview during a recent business trip. Pleasantly surprised by everything from the appearance to the food. The staff really impressed me with their quality assistance, their knowledge and efforts to find information for me which was not readily available. Laughter is the best medicine, somebody once said, and the staff were always laughing or at the very least... More

We stayed at the Fairview for the second time in November. Our overall impression was equally positive to our first stay and we concur with the positive comments already posted on this website. We had a very special dinner in the Pango restaurant. In contrast with another reviewer, we found the servers so friendly and gracious. The head chef, Eamon,... More

The hotel is located to the rear of the Israeli Embassy and it is surrounded by a very tight security presence from the Kenyan armed forces and police. Entry to the hotel is carefully monitored and the security is so good that you often see government ministers there. The hotel was recommended to me by a friend who said there... More

We've stayed one night at this hotel during November 2011 and it was a great start to our holiday. The staff were really very attentive and provided great assistance although we've arrived early hours of the day. We stayed in room 3, Ground Floor; large room with a good sized en-suite. Clean, spacious, comfortable. Although we haven't used them, but... More

Lovely appearing hotel with beautiful gardens and pools. But rooms priced at lowest is still not good enough. Small rooms. Small tv. Like a bachelor pad or dorm room for one. It's clean so that's good. But the sound between rooms is bad. Just last night I lost at least 1hr sleep because the person next door was snoring loud.... More

Several stays now at the Fairview and I am so thankful to the folks who gave me the heads up about this wonderful place. On my first trips to Kenya my organization put me up at the Hilton and the Intercon but there is absolutely no comparison. The rooms, grounds, pool, and staff of the hotel are fabulous. I tend... I recently stayed at the Fairview as the organisation I work for were running a workshop for 3 days there. It is a great place - everything good - food, staff and service. You also feel very safe there and you would hardly believe that you were staying in a very busy city. The gardens are lovely and a welcome... More
