My husband and I stayed at the Fairview for two days ahead of our safari in the Mara and I can't think of a better place to rest and recharge after a long flight and ahead of our time in the bush. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the staff is super friendly and the food is delightful. The grounds...

Stayed here for five nights in January 2017, on recommendation of colleagues. It looked ok from the website and outside, but honestly, I know how hotels can make a terrible room look like its amazing, Check-in was fine, and the reception area, quaint, upstairs to my room (no lift) along narrow parquet-floored corridors, it felt a bit like being back...

Excellent hotel. Clean rooms. Comfortable accommodations. Secure locks, gates, doors, windows. No mosquitos. Safe in room, but only bolted to a shelf. Grounds were landscaped and well maintained. Pools were clean and clear. Exercise room was better than expected. Food was outstanding, including breakfast lunch and dinners. Breakfast buffet was included in price. Very nice breakfast buffet. Highly recommended.

This is a well managed hotel that has older style but clean and spacious rooms and well appointed lobby waiting areas and multiple restaurants. There is a lovely garden. The service is excellent--everyone seemed friendly and was very helpful. The breakfast offered a nice range of options ranging from a typical full English breakfast to in season local fruit and...

Went for Lunch with Family. It is a beautiful and well landscaped quiet hotel . The waiters were quite friendly and the food was superb! Above, all we got to have quality family time in the secluded corner "Thika". It is quite private. Never got to see the rooms but the food and the scenery is worth going back for.

We stayed here 6 years ago and really enjoyed it. We had read that it had been taken over and were hoping it had not changed. Thankfully, on the whole, it is still the same. The gardens are immaculate, the whole place is very clean and well tended. The restaurant and bar staff are welcoming, friendly and attentive. The rooms...

A very nice property and beautiful grounds. The property is located across from an embassy so excellent security. We were there for a family vacation. The vibe of the hotel was more business than pleasure. My daughter and I sat by the pool for several hours and were the only people in the area not in business dress.
