This hotel is centrally located in the center of Nairobi. It still has the old colonial charm all over the hotel. The courtyard is very beautiful and peaceful. It's very pleasant to sit in the courtyard and enjoy their awesome Kenyan coffee :) They have a decent pool and you can order food/beverage around the pool. The only thing is...

Spent two nights here before going on safari. Great service. Loved the old school elegance of the property. The courtyard is gorgeous. Nice pool and exercise room. Sauna and steam room also available. My room was a bit too small, and a small issue with water leaking out of the shower, but nothing major. Food was somewhat overpriced, as many...

Low-key, colonial-like atmosphere for those who do not like staying in high rises. The two story hotel winds around a lovely garden with various birds flying around during the day. I'm told this is one of the safest areas in Nairobi with the police station just down the street and soldiers guarding the television station next door. The University of...

We stayed at the Norfolk for 2 nights before embarking on a safari in Kenya and again for another night before heading out to another safari park. My wife and I stayed two separate nights at the Norfolk before and after our visit to the Masai Mara. The stays were short, just dinner through breakfast, but we enjoyed our brief time there. The Norfolk still has a lot of character. We stayed there 25 years ago during our honeymoon, and the hotel has maintained its classic ambience...
