The Serena chain almost always pleases, and this is no exception. This is an excellent choice of hotel if one wants a secure environment within the City. Located within a very large, park-like area, the Nairobi Serena is fenced in with high security--and that security is needed. Rooms are straight-forward and comfortable. The staff and service are excellent. The pool...

We stayed here for two nights before our safari and had a day room post safari before our flight home. Hotel is a great business hotel - you could tell by the clientele in the restaurant and the bar. The rooms were nice. Security felt good though I don't know that I'd walk around outside the hotel compound after dark....

We stayed at the Serena in Baurobu for two nights and had a wonderful stay. The too S were good though a little dated, but we equipped. Great toiletries, very good and attentive service. The buffet meals were really very good with amazing choice definitely 5 star. We have 3 children and they were well accommodated for, the staff were...

I did a week at the Serena, part of it with business associates along. Most of the time I ate at the hotel and made extensive use of their business center. On several occasions I had more than a few guests including government officials and security personnel. We would have driven many other hotels "bonkers" but not the Serena. Let's...

Lovely hotel, the rooms are a little dated but well equipped and the reception and bar areas are beautiful. There's also a very well stocked gift shop which sells some lovely handicrafts etc. Especially good breakfast (good coffee!) included in the room rate which you can have in your room or the downstairs restaurant. Considering its central location it's also...

Great hotel with wonderful conference facilities. Getting there can be a nightmare during rush hour and sometimes parking is a problem. The location is so walking distance from the central business district which is big plus if interested in a stroll. Quiet and very clean.

Very nice hotel in the middle of Nairobi, high security within a beautiful garden setting. Security is important in Nairobi after the shopping mall tragedy. OUr initial accommodation was changed to this hotel due to their safety precautions. Room was very large with all amenities and nicely appointed. The complex has a good sized pool and several restaurants to choose...
