Just stayed two days in my business trip in Nairobi and the hotel was really good. Staff friendly, standar rooms big and confortable with multiple chargers for my electronic devices and hi speed wifi complimentary. Safety also good. Only test the restaurant for breaskfast and buffet was abundant. The only "but" is the presence in the bar of some "solitaire... More

As someone who leads wildlife photo safaris in Kenya, I've stayed at the Nairobi Serena over and over, by choice. In contrast to the chaotic sprawl of Nairobi, once you step through the threshold of the Serena you know it's a special place. The staff are welcoming and truly strive to make your stay memorable. The facility is tastefully decorated... More

A very comfortable stay a short drive from the International Convention Centre. Friendly staff, helpful concierge and good housekeeping. The breakfast is absolutely excellent and runs from 06:30 to quite late in the morning. Room service was good, I recommend the Indian dishes and the poolside dining area is very pleasant. Sometimes service was a little on the leisurely side... More

We just had a quick stopover for a night before heading to safari. We didn't go out so can't really comment on the location. But it next to a nice park. We just relaxed for lunch , drink by the pool and dinner. Good public area and poolside. Overall service is good, staff is friendly. Nice bathroom amenity, comfortable bed... More

The Serena Hotel in Nairobi is a bit like a vintage Rolls Royce: very classy and elegant but you can tell that it is getting old. A lot of the decor is a kind of African Chic which in some ways covers up the distant feeling that it really needs a huge makeover to stay on top. In the meantime... More

This is a lovely hotel, the staff were very friendly. We stayed for one night before heading of on a safari. Breakfast was good , the only down fall was the bed it was old and needed to be replaced as it had a large dip in the middle, made it very uncomfortable .

Staff all exceptionally attentive polite and exceedingly helpful - residents seating area for meetings - food good, gym good - my abs are still hurting after a session with Charity who totally whipped me into shape(... This hotel is one of the best in Africa. Great rooms, staff and food. Also the fact that it feels like you are in some quiet area while in downtown Nairobi makes staying in this hotel a real pleasure. Try the egg benedicte with breakfast: this is fantastic!
