We had a lovely 2 night stay in one of the apartments . Everyone & Everything was great. Nothing is too much for them. Early check in & late check out was no problem Staff at the cafe make delicious meals while you wait. Thanks everyone for all your kind assistance

We stayed with my husband for a week at Serene Valley apartment; I was on a business trip and he joined me. We would definitely recommend it for any business or personal trip!!The accommodation is very clean and practical; WIFi is working very well; staff is very friendly and helpful; they organized our pick up at airport in a very efficient manner. No need to comment about Barista; the bar/restaurant downstairs which serves very fresh and tasty food at a very affordable price. Opening hours very convenient and all staff super friendly. If we'll go back we'll stay there for sure!

For work I stayed almost two years in Serene Valley Nairobi. I have been able to see a lot of different accommodations in Nairobi where my colleagues and friends live but every time I was happy with my choice which I consider to be the best. Serene Valley is situated at walking distance to the Central Business District where major offices are located. It is close to the Uhuru Highway and Uhuru Park. A big super market (Nakumat) is at about 15 minutes walk but the apartment building has its own convenience shop. Serene Valley is a modern complex, exceptionally well managed. Services consist of daily house keeping, a spa, a fitness room and a swimming pool. There is also a small restaurant serving a full range menu at competitive prices. Everything is prepared fresh in the small open kitchen. Staff was always courteous and helpful, from the reception desk (always willing to assist in all matter from ordering taxi's to printing out boarding passes and solving small problems with the internet or DSTV) to the guards at the gate (a team of three day and night). The house keeping and maintenance staff is kind, friendly and extremely helpful and trustworthy. I spent a happy two years in Serene Valley and would recommend this apartment complex to any body.

I am currently staying here and I am so impressed with the luxury of these apartments. The apartments are well serviced and secure and it is almost as good as being at home. There is also a small restaurant onsite and the staff are extremely friendly and the food is not too bad. They make great Cappuccinos!!!

I have stayed in Serene valley in many occasions for work and vacation with family. There is no single problem that this team can not solve for you...usually with a smile. I have had no problems and I keep coming back. I used to stay at 5 star hotels down town or around upper hill but Eunice and her team's charm got me hooked. Lovely, quiet and secure place with a full spa and gym in the compound. I never feel safe in Nairobi except inside Serene Valley. Honest cleaners and each room has one assigned person which makes it a home for you away from home. You will be introduced to your cleaner upon arrival.they have drivers on site who will drive you anywhere securely. A coffee bar and a shopping center inside the compound is a plus. Clean everything!!! I comfortable beds and DSTV 24/7.

My wife and 3 kids stayed at Serene Valley apartments from Aug 27,2012 to 1 Sept 2012. The quality of the apartment is ok for Nairobi standards (except for more than a few plumbing issues). The biggest issue for us was the poor treatment in the last few days of our stay. They disconnected the TV dish 72 hours prior to check out and do not care when you complain that you cannot watch even KTN or KBC news... Then it gets uglier when the apartment manager starts to explain that there is a " stained towel" that you may have to pay for ( monthly rent furnished is Ksh 280,000 and they do house keeping and laundry every 2-3 days- so why did they not clean the hand towel properly? you may wonder.. We found the apartment with loose and broken shelves in the closet and signed the check-in review check list, but guess what..on check out the manager told us that "the shelves are broken.. you will have to pay..." When you challenge him, he says.. " I will do what I need to do and charge you..!"... CONCLUSION- AVOID THIS APARTMENT LIKE A PLAGUE..

If you are coming to Nairobi for work and you are working in the vicinity of Upper Hill- I highly recommend Serene Valley. It is really the most modern apartments you'll find. All the furniture, kitchen fixing, etc, were new and in excellent condition. bathrooms are modern. One of the only places with 3 bedroom apartments. The staff are very courteous and friendly. Whenever we needed help with the internet, dstv, etc, they always came promptly to help. We stayed there with my 3 children for a month. We were new to Nairobi and wanted something with a very flexible lease so that when we found a perm place, there were no hassles. Serene valley offers this. They also have a decent gym and pool as well as a very nice spa. Impeccable maid service 3x week. The manager is very kind and helpful. And to top it all off, it was very reasonably priced compared to other serviced apartments in Nairobi- I looked for 3 days for a place and saw enough. Lovely evening view of the city from my apartment. The only issue is that you need to carefully consider location- this is true for anywhere in Nairobi-- if you are not in upper hill or the vicinity, don't stay there. It's close to many offices- world bank, Jica, etc.

We stayed here 5-18 September and found the apartments to be of outstanding quality, immaculately clean, friendly staff, good security, ample car parking, and on site cafe which we found most useful. The room was fully equiped with every thing we needed and more, such as fridge, washing machine, dish washer, cooker, microwave, kettle, full set of cutlery, flat screen TV. There is good free wifi in the rooms. They are located in a tranquil area of Upper Hill but close to the city centre and business district.

We choose to live at Serene Valley mainly for its location but also to the professional and friendly staff they employ. The apartments are very modern and they've really provided everything one could need, with a shop, restaurant and even spa on site (alongside the usual gym, pool, sauna and steam room). They really take care of you and have maintenance staff on site if anything needs a tweak. With a choice of three and two bedroom apartments of varying styles this is a lovely place to live. They even encourage you to use the communal BBQs. The spa is wonderful - what bliss to be able to have regular massages and facials and not trek across town. We can't recommend this place highly enough.

"True, it is near to the train tracks, but hey - you are ten minutes from downtown if the traffic isn't totally backed up. The three bedroom apartments have the best views but are closer to the railway - but trains are so infrequent it isn't a major problem."
