My daughter (25) and I went there for one night. We had a nice game drive the whole day and ended up at the lodge at around 6 pm. We were met by the hosts at the parking and followed all the way to the lovely cabin by the staff. Everybody, and I really mean every person we met during...

I loved The Emakoko and am so happy it was selected for our first three nights in Kenya. The staff was amazing and taught me a great deal about the tribes in the country; I built on this knowledge throughout our stay thanks to the great introduction provided. Food was off the charts. Rooms were wonderful. Wildlife was everywhere! Our...

Long flights, similar to many people. Arrived in Kenya and immediately want to start the safari experience! Game drive from the airport. Met at the airport, quick and interesting drive through an industrial area to the way through the under recognised Nairobi National Park. Saw four black rhinos as well as lots of other wildlife on the way to the...

Emakoko is a little gem that sits right on the edge of Nairobi National Park. Although relatively new, it looks and feels like a rustic lodge. Our room was very nicely appointed with a terrace that looked out over a clearing surrounded by trees where monkeys played and other animals passed through. The lodge/dining area is very attractive.
