Great place - room (a crew room) was on the basic side but more than comfortable and perfect for the night before my flight to the Mara. The bar was fantastic, with loads of flying memorabilia, and the restaurant (just a coffee chain) did a great light meal with fab service.

Sorry to answer this so late but we did this a few years ago, a pleasant short walk with locals who were walking to jobs in a.m. Took maybe ten minutes?

"Crew room was basis but great - I think there are more plush rooms available."
"As far away from the road as possible"
"Whole place is original colonial shabby chic and charming in its own way."
"I was in rooms 1 and 2, in what looks like the oldest block and closest to the road. Maybe pay up a bit and stay in the newer rooms?"
