Nairobi Tented camp(NTC for short) in the Nairobi National Park is the perfect place to relax and de - stress after my usually very hectic business schedule in Nairobi and not to mention endless hours spent in traffic jams !!. Look Nairobi National Park is not the most highly populated Game Park in East Africa but it has an interesting...

I never thought tented camp would be so much fun and convenient. They'll provide you with enough resources, like water and electricity. I was staying at tent 9 (the farthest tent they have) and a buffalo was calmly eating and resting next to my tent (what an experience!!!). They have a great room with bathroom, and the staffs were really...

The Nairobi Tented Camp, hidden away in a little forest deep inside the Nairobi National Park, must be one of the capital's best kept secrets. As the only accommodation facility inside the park this place deserves to be full every night. Whether on safari or on business, either way can one stay at the camp for the arrival night or...

Spare two days and one night at the end of a Nairobi business trip, and I am happy I spent them here. Lovely service, mess tent, lounge tent, good quality sleeping tents with proper beds, and a hot-water bottle to take the chill from the sheets (end of rainy season when I visited). Saw plenty of animals on the drives....

A colleague and I stayed at NTC for an evening back in April and anyone who is spending time in Nairobi should do the same! It's very easy to get there from downtown Nairobi (probably about 20 minutes or so) and NTC can arrange transportation to and from the camp. Although I brought a headlamp with me, it wasn't needed...

I had the complete pleasure of staying at NTC for one night with some business colleagues. We were met by the camp Manager Harry and a more helpful smiling good man I have yet to meet. Nothing was too much trouble. The camp is beautiful. The tents are incredibly well appointed with beds, showers and each has a toilet inside....

After a night flight from the UK this haven of calm is the perfect first night in Kenya for we three "mature "travellers. We are always revived by the amazing sightings as we drive through the park. And we really appreciate the lovely meals, the bucket shower, and comfortable beds. Clemence and team provide the perfect, calm, efficient hospitality and...

It's just a short drive from the airport or anywhere else in the city. Once inside the park you're in a different world with the traffic, noise and dust left firmly outside the perimeter. The Nairobi Tented Camp is in a thickly wooded part of the park and wonderfully comfortable. The tents don't have any of the luxuries you don't...

We have now visited all the Porini camps in Kenya. We found the same Porini service we have become to expect, and must compliment Clemence and her team for the wonderful time we spent over 2 nights. Andrew was a most considerate and intelligent guide and though we saw the large animals, it was the smaller things we came across,...
