We stayed there two nights. The environment is amazing and it is one of the best place to rest: something different. Unfortunately some guests are not ready to experience the bush and we saw scenes very unfortunate with the staff. Us we had a great experience, with a nice staff. The manager has worked hard to satisfy all our exigencies....

Wow - thank you for your review. I appreciate you taking the time to offer your review, and indeed your opinion on the staff, and perhaps other guests disappointment with being in the bush. I do appreciate your candour. It really is up to us to manage expectations - we do have some guests that expect a city style hotel...

We were very disappointed about the state of the tree house. Not at all what is advertised in the site. Toilet was not working, shower broken, no privacy in one of the bathrooms and rain coming in through the walls. If it rains it is very dangerous to drive down and up the 3 km from the restaurant. Four wheel...

Thank you for your honest review of Malu. I am very sorry that you had some trouble at the Treehouse - Malu is a farm and when it rains some of the areas away from the main track can get muddy - when it rains it can rain pretty hard - I am sorry - you will be pleased to...

Malu is a nice alternative to Lake Naivasha. 2.7 kms past the Kobil station on A104 between Naivasha and Gilgil you take a right at the Malu sign. Be careful! You might miss it! Drive about 11 kms into the hills by following the "Malu" signs on a dirt road. My Toyota Corolla made it but a 4 x 4...

Thank you so much for taking the time to review Malu and I appreciate the nice things that you said. Thank you for mentioning the staff, they try hard and I am so pleased to hear from you that they were attentive and looked after you - it says something when a guest gets to know the staff by name...

Just returned from a wonderful overnight stay at Malu. The cottages were comfortable and cosy, with plenty of private space for the family to enjoy the peaceful setting. The food was tasty. And the staff were excellent, especially the guide Stephen, who was incredibly accommodating. Thank you for a great weekend.

It was absolutely perfect family day out. All that I could hear was my kids screaming in delight. They went on a horse ride, held a rabbit, fed ducks, geese and chickens, sang Baa-Baa black sheep to sheep, and had amazing ride in a donkey cart. Amazing and tranquil place. We stayed for lunch. The food was very good and...

Thank you for your kind review of Malu. I am so glad that you enjoyed your trip and we shall work on our value for money expectations for you. We are sometimes stumped by additional costs posted by agents which don't truly reflect the actual costs of Malu that I think are extremely fair and reasonable when taking into account...

Being a Nairobi resident, it was nice to get out of town for a quiet few days. however, we also brought visitors from England. Rustic was fine, but not many animals and it was MILES on rough road to get there. The staff were lovely and helpful. Beds are comfortable, but if it rains at night, it is very noisy...

Thank you for taking the time to give Malu an honest review. Malu is 11km from the main Naivasha highway - I wish I could say that we could fix the location for you to get a better review - but we are where we are, and I love it, I love that we are far enough from the road...

Second time here for my birthday. Again, really really love this place! This time we didn't even bother going to the pool or main lodge, we just read and played Monopoly. As I've said before, very well equipped and clean and the staff very nice. Please add more bright lights to the lounge, it is so dark we cannot read!...

Thank you SO much for your review.
