The experience was akin to being in a rustic cabin in the woods surrounded by trees and birds, whilst not roughing it. A combination of a quaint, tree house with a home away from home village feel, whilst not lacking the comforts of living. The evenings by the fireplace at night with an exciting woodfire going added quite an endearing...

We went here because the lake was supposed to be full of flamingos, hence the name Pink Lake, but we only saw a handful. We were told that they had migrated. I wasn't aware that flamingos migrated. The cost for non locals is 500 KSH. It would probably have been a better experience had we actually seen more flamingos.

If you want a place to unwind and enjoy nature this is it. It is suitable for small groups as well as big. My husband and I enjoyed wonderful service and home cooked meals by Edward who showed us around and even took us to a beautiful hot spring right next to the lake. The only downside to the trip...

So after reading some reviews from a local blog about PinkLakemans I called the owner , Macharia and wanted to go for a solo retreat at the Eco camp for a five day retreat. I needed some quiet time to reflect and also get some reading and work done. Reaching the place it felt like something out of a postcard....

This is the place you truly get away to. I mean literally from everything. I loved the tranquility, t (No TV,phones noice, just birds, flamingos) he hospitality, the private gorge was also lovely. An early morning walk though the gorge with its trickling stream will take you away from Earth for a few minutes. The staff too are quite responsive...

If you want a real break from it all, PinkLakeMan lodge is the place for you. They have lake frontage and wonderful rustic cabins with all the amenities you will need to relax. There are no TVs and hotel telephones. For company you have all the birdlife you can wish for including flamingos and pelicans. On my most recent visit...
