We visited joy palace for a stop over and it wasn't a bad choice for us. The cleanliness was perfect. And the staff too were professional a special thanks to Peter he was keen to details and made our stay more pleasant. Thanks Peter well surely visit again.
Very peaceful place in central Nairobi. Very very very friendly staff and nice clean rooms with TV and hot shower. Nice Bar on the top. Driver John the reception recommended was excellent and friendly. Took me to all the places I wanted to see for a reasonable price. Breakfast a bit poor. But when leaving last day very early friendly staff prepared breakfast for me before their shift begann. So 5 Stars for my stay at joys palace. When back to Nairobi this will be my place.
The young lady welcomed us while she was talking on the phone without paying attention to our questions. We booked a double room in advance and she gave us a room with two single beds. In the bathroom there were no towels. The room was so noisy, we could hear music playing until 5am. Absolutely not recommended.
The hotel is clean and is situated in a quiet place. It is at a walking distance from shopping malls and other facilities hence convenient. Well, the towels are old, they could consider getting new ones. The food was good, they could do better though and go easy on the salt. Generally, I enjoyed my stay there.
We stayed here for one night and we absolutely loved it. PROS: - Clen and big room - Private bathroom - Very comfortable bed - Hot shower - Good Wi-FI connection - Great location - Security and frontdesk 24/7 - Airport shuttle The staff were able to provide us with a hairdryer, extra towels and they totally went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Seriously, I cannot praise the staff enough, they were absolutely amazing :) CONS: - No lift - The hotel is near the clubbing area, meaning you might hear some music from the clubs late at night. Nothing that would disturb you unless you are a light sleeper.
