We stayed here for one night, because our flight was the next day. The hostess was very kind and enthusiastic. We booked the en-suite room with our own bathroom. The room is big enough and clean, even as the bathroom. With a 10 minutes walk there is a shopping mall with a food court and supermarket. The Airport is close by, so that was perfect.

This accommodation is a short 10-minute ride away from Nairobi airport. Faith and Jane who run the place are really nice and very very flexible with arrival, departure, breakfast and everything. They provide safe and fast airport transfer. The rooms are relatively new and the mosquito nets are good. Bear in mind there is no elevator.

(+) Secret Haven Inn is conveniently located close to the International Airport. If you have one or two nights to spend in Nairobi, it might be a good option. However, I would rather suggest Tausi homes or Cozy rooms JKIA, which are also close by, because they are cheaper and have a similar service. If you need a supermarket or a place to eat, Gateway mall is 15 min walk. I must say that it is better to avoid a Chinese cafe in the food court, because we have got food poison. It is a safe district of Nairobi and you can walk even late in the evening.
Secret Haven Inn has a kitchen with all necessary equipment: microwave, kitchenette, fridge, cutlery, mugs, glasses and even wine glasses. The place is clean and has a mosquito net. The breakfast can be arranged very early in the morning. Even if it is a B&B, you can pay with a credit card.
(-) Two times we ordered a transportation and both times we had some issues. The first time we wanted to leave at 9:15 and informed about it in advance but instead departed at 9:35 and barely made to the tour that suppose to start at 10. The second time we had to wait for a taxi 10 addition minutes with our heavy backpacks on. At the end it turned out that it was not an official taxi. I hope my credit card was not copied, and since I have paid only at this B&B, and it would be pretty easy to find out, from where the fraud is coming from. Keep in mind that it is a B&B in a private apartment, so people may check in or check out early in the morning or late in the evening and it might disturb you. For breakfast you get omelette or pan cakes and fresh fruits. But canned pineapple? Seriously?! In Kenya!

It is an okay apartment for an over night close to the JKIA. The lady who helped us was very kind. However, I wish there was mosquito repellent tool in the rooms as it was full of mosquitos (there was a net around the bed, though). One towel for each guest & hair dryer is a must in a room - please accept this as a constructive comment, as we never saw the owner, we did not have chance to share our opinion face-to-face (which we usually prefer to do so instead of a review).

It is clean, and acceptable in general.

We stayed here for one night. The place was not that easy to find. It’s a serviced apartment in a gated community of serviced apartments. Finding the right block proofed harder than expected, but one of the guards was able to help us and the girl who looks after the flat came to meet us and showed us to the flat (several floors up, no lift) after a quick phone call.
The flat is very comfortable and beautifully furnished. It comes with a fully equipped kitchen that guests are welcome to use. There is a supermarket in a mall within walking distance (Naivas). In the morning, breakfast is made no matter how early you leave.
The room was a reasonable size (we had the twin room). It’s not en-suite, but since the only other guest was using the en-suite room, we had the shower room and toilet to ourselves. The beds were very comfortable. Everything looked spotlessly clean.
The flat is near the airport and the owner took us to the airport the following morning (for a fee). The only issue was: traffic. The flat is the other side of the airport from Nairobi, which means that in the morning, you end up caught in all the traffic travelling into Nairobi. It’s a dual carriage way and you go past the airport, before you can turn off for the airport (and basically turn back on yourself). If you decide to stay here, do leave plenty of time to get to the airport.
Otherwise, convenient and clean and very pleasant.

This is the perfect stop over guest house in Nairobi. It is clean, comfortable, well serviced, with friendly staff- Faith, the owner even cooked us breakfast at 5am before driving us to the airport for our flight. Highly recommended.
