This is a good holiday destination and a lovely place to be when you are in need of a quiet environment. Nature walks at its best. why not adventure with the ostriches? as for the food its amazing, presentation at its best. the warm jikos keep the cold away in the wee hours

Ignore the pin on the map that shows it close to Langata Road. It is on Namanga Road, off of Mombasa Road. We vainly went to the Langata Road area per the map - basically it's just wrong. Also, we couldn't connect with the resort by phone. Once we got there, it was great.

Be aware that the road leading to this place is very rough and bumpy. The place itself is a resort and very nicely kept. We did not try the food and were there just to see the ostriches. Our guide was very good and all the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Our guide took us around the park and... More

Close to Nairobi. The food was okay, presentation and layout when we had the meal was not very good. Bathrooms need an extra eye. That said, the ostriches were very delightful, and my children loved the place. The play ground was adequate as was the swimming pool. It gets chilly at night, you might want to carry a sweater!! The... More

We went as a family for a day out. The place is one hours drive from Nairobi, roads are generally good except the last 7km is graded murram but it is passable even with a small car. The place has a nice serene environment with a pool. The food is good especially the ostrich meat which is a delicacy and... More

The Maasai Ostrich Resort is a ways out of the city. There were about 7 of us who went and enjoyed the tour of the ostrich farm which included seeing ostriches from about 3 months on up to adulthood. We all rode the ostrich, though it's not a very long ride- one lap around the corral. It is quite entertaining... More

It is a good experience to taste ostrich meat, they do in several ways but even when we try the grill one the taste is nice. We buy the meat in a kilogram (quarter, half kg) and they cook in the way we want. While you wait for your meal, you can ride the ostrich.

We were looking for an unusual activity and found this place where you can dine out under an umbrella in the lovely garden, swim in the pool, take a farm tour or even ride an ostrich! It was a fantastic day trip for us but we toured the hotel and would definitely recommend staying there when you want to get... More
