have just come back from four nights in nairobi at this beautifully designed hotel . much thought has gone into all the special features such as the extra public rooms for watching t.v. or meetings and social functions . the swimming pool was serene and a well screened paradise spot . the rooms were good apart from towels need to... Short version: Friendly staff, clean room, good food at the restaurant (breakfast & dinner), modern design. Long version: Nice place. Went for business and was extremely pleased with the hotel, its services, and the staff. If I can say one thing I would like to have seen - more outdoor space besides the pool. Not a deal breaker, though. The... More

Overpriced, noisy and crowded with people not staying in the hotel. It looks like the management of this hotel do not care about their paying guests but gives preference to local events most nights and weekends. Being a very small hotel with minimal common space there is nowhere to sit and most staying guests ended up having to go elsewhere... More

I have been going to Kaya monthly for the last year, and have largely had an enjoyable time. However, after today, I will not be returning to the spa. Firstly, the women's changing rooms were under renovation, but Tribe somehow saw it fit to keep the spa operational despite all rules of common sense. The highlight of this particularly enthralling... More

Dear T O, Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback on the above matters. I am very sorry to read about your bad experience in our Kaya Spa. It is truly embarrassing, and I am even more sorry that you have not got a reply on your poor experience earlier. This behaviour is not up to our... More

From the moment I saw this hotel, before it was even completed, I knew that I would book it. This past December 2014, I did, with a small groups of guests who travel with my company. It was exquisite, maybe one of my most favorite hotels in Kenya. It's primarily a business hotel, but definitely also for the tourist, with... More

Stayed at this property for two nights, following a six day safari, along with "Safari" Kay from Destined to Travel. This hotel is beautiful. Very modern with great furnishings and art through out the hotel. Every floor had something different. Pool area is nice. Breakfast is buffet style, with a chef making fresh omelettes, etc. Turn down service includes truffles... More

I never stayed at the hotel, had only one visit yesterday, because of AmCham function held there. Much to my surprise, waters did not issue receipts for the drinks they served, and apparently have never done it before. Everyone directed me to "the manager". Eventually, after making a bit of noise, I got my receipt, and when I told the... More

Nice hotel. I liked the decor. the room was well appointed, had a great sleep. Coudl not taste the breakfast because I had to leave early. Overall I was quite happy with the hotel - although the price is quite high. Hotels are quite expensive in Nairobi. What I was not that happy with was the massage at the spa.... More

Traveled to Nairobi for business and had the Tribe Hotel selected for me. I was not disappointed. The staff was very welcoming, even after a six hours flight from Istanbul in the middle of the night. Check-in was a breeze (which was important to me at 0500) and my room was well prepared. I initially had an issue with the... More
