I stayed at Tribe with my wife and kids for a few days in July and August 2022. It was not the most expensive hotel we stayed at, but something about the service and food set it apart. Friendly and knowledgeable staff really looked after us. i can't wait to return.
This hotel continues to be a favorite. The staff is phenomenal. Cornelius helped with getting PCR tests and so much more. Samora helped with a medical clinic visit for another reason. Eric and Chris were awesome drivers! Jacinta helped getting us some airport special accommodations. Staff is the best. The hotel is doing some pool renovation, but it didn't interfere with our plans. Love this hotel. Food excellent.
On behalf of my teammates, thanks so much for a great stay! Special thanks to Anthony,Celine, Cornelius, and Winfred for all your assistance. Really appreciate your hard work and consummate professionalism.
My friends and I visited this place on my birthday and wow! The hotel exceeded my expectations! They have exceedingly amazing staff who were delightful and eager to help! Honestly, everything was great, the food, ambience and I can't forget the staffs who were very very friendly and we really felt welcome. You are the best, I'll always be back! I DEFINITELY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND Tribe hotel!
I really enjoyed my time at the hotel and I received top notch treatment from Winifred and Anthony who were also excellent hosts to my friends and colleagues. Would definitely come back! Big up to the hotel and staff for making my time memorable 💜❤️✨
I stayed for a night over the weekend at The Tribe and I must say, totally impressed. I loved it. The hospitality from the minute I got out of the car to the swift friendly check in, to my entire stay and upon checking out was simply just great and pleasant and wonderful. The room-superior king, was just what I needed spacious, clean and I just didnt want to leave it. I had dinner and breakfast at Jiko, it is a must visit. The food was delicious.......I want to go back over and over. Let me say a big thank you to the Tribe Family/ Staff starting with Njeri Chege (God bless you forever) and a big shout out to Nancy (big big thank you), Issa and Phillip at Jiko who took great care of me and Samora at the check in desk. You all made my stay wonderful and I will forever remember this. KEEP IT UP.…
This is a nice hotel. Very clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. Only downside is there is no desk in the room (or the room I had) so if you need to work you'll be sitting on the couch or in the bed.
If I were you, I would stay away from this hotel for at least another 6 months. Their website states that they have completed a recent renovation, but this is far from the truth. The hotel is still in the process of renovations and is an absolute nightmare when it comes to noise disturbance and facility impact. The spa is being renovated on the bottom floor, an outlet is being renovated on the top floor, and various rooms throughout the hotel are also being renovated. It is constant hammering and circular saws buzzing. Jiko is a delicious restaurant but is not worth the very hefty price tag when you have a circular saw buzzing away during your very expensive meal. The hotel has taken no precautions when it comes to protecting the guest experience during this renovation and has made no adjustments in their pricing either. Also, if you are a Marriott member don't expect to be recognized at check-in or receive your guaranteed benefits. This hotel does not care about your status and what it entitles you to, i.e. late check-out, complimentary upgrades, etc. I would suggest packing an alarm clock with you while at this property as well. I requested a wake-up call at 5:30 AM and received it at 4:00 AM instead with no follow-up from management. The hotel has the potential to be a beautiful property when the renovations are complete, but if I were you, I would stay far away for the time being. You will have a much better stay at the Trademark next door.…
My hotel at Tribe Hotel has always been wonderful and this time I upgraded to stay in a Suite and ooouw whaoo. Tribe makes my trips to Nairobi a great endeavour. Cozy Spacious Comfortable Room. I also took my children for a weekend out. And they loved the place. Notably they mentioned its breakfast restaurant being so cool. And the food is very nice. They also like the fact that they could walk to Village Market Mall. Thats a plus plus also the hotel is located in the most secured place in Nairobi. The staff are very friendly. From Reception to Jiko and concierge. Wonderful. I'd give it a 10/10.
We stayed at the Tribe hotel, Nairobi from 26 to 31 October’22. We confirmed the booking in First week of September. Inspite of that we were allotted Room 033, a room which is opposite the main restaurant in the public lobby. When we entered the A/C duct was open. The main switchboard was open. The A/C was not working and Inspite of repeated complaints nothing was done. The cupboard below the wash basin was broken. The laundry ruined my new T-shirt. We were shocked by the treatment meted out. Till today 13th Nov. there is no reply from the general manager. He has proof of all this available as the night duty supervisor had taken pictures of the room. At 150-250 US $ per night this was disaster.
