The hotel is centrally located int he city and in a good location to walk around town. When we first arrived in the evening we were struck by how dark the street was and by the drunk man walking back and forth near the entrance. The staff were friendly and happy to arrange for taxi service. Make sure you know... More

I had been living in Nairobi for 3 months and wanted to lives in the central business district for my last week. This hotel was great. First off you can't best the price. Rooms were clean, water was hot, staff was friendly, location was perfect! It is definitely not a five star hotel but I feel you get more than... More

We came from a top rated property a long way from town.....it cost a fortune in taxis to get anywhere and for a private room with its own bathroom was twice the cost of what we are paying at the Embassy. Its a fantastic budget hotel for travellers who want to be right in the City. Lots of great (and... More

Stayed there for a couple of days some weeks ago. The hotel is cheap, centrally located with quite big rooms. However, it did not look like it had been cleaned thoroughly for quite some time, especially the hallway. You should not try and get some advice from the staff since they are obviously biased and not telling you the cheapest... More

Just unbelievably comfortable for the price. And as I expected from the 25 dayer on this page, the staff are all really lovely and everything just feels comfortable and nice. Nothing is ever a problem (bicycle, receipts, odd requests), hot water and internet work perfectly for me (three days so far on 3rd floor), I've stayed Thursday to Saturday and... More

This is a good budget option in a convenient and (relatively) quiet part of Nairobi. The rooms are basic but spacious, clean, and self-contained with hot water (though our shower head didn't work). The hotel doesn't allow alcohol but has a restaurant with good and inexpensive local food. For the price it's a good option for travelers in Nairobi for... More

The room was clean and quite big. Hotel is perfect if you need a place to sleep and leave you luggage. It's located in the city center so you can find shops, reastaurants, ATM not far from the hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Embassy is a realy good choice.

“Be mindful, if you are on a budget, you may not want to stay in a hotel in a location where you don't have to take taxis to get around town as it can add up However, also keep in mind staying in a filthy hotel might not be the adventure you seek while traveling.”

“The front rooms or back rooms are probably both a bit 'city' noisy....2nd, 3rd and 4th floor - all much the same I think. Internet is free - works ok so we have been very happy! The restaurant is quite reasonable too and mid priced....meals are good. Nothing bad to say......The staff have been wonderful.”
