I am so very happy to have discovered WildeBeest Eco Camp. I had heard of it years ago but was not seeking luxury so had ignored it. But one day I heard of their camping and dorm tent options. Right within the pocketbook., so I tried it. Oh my! It is a wonderful place!! The staff is wonderful, the entire... More

Wildebeest once again was the perfect place for a stopover before going on to other Kenyan destinations. The gardens are beautiful, birds magnificent and the tents very comfortable. Bed way too hard for my taste. Alan was accommodating, food was good and they were always ready to help chose an outing. Charlie always picked us on time, thank goodness!

We stayed at Wildebeest as a jumping off point for a month vacation in Kenya, and found that exceeded our expectations. We got a private safari tent with communal bathrooms. The tent was clean and well appointed, the communal bathrooms were well maintained and the vibe was laid back. We really enjoyed the buffet family dinner as it made it... More

It's tough to get away from barking dogs in suburban E. Africa, but this place seemed to be surrounded by some all night dog parties and, you're in a tent. In addition to the noisy pups, the first night we stayed here a building alarm went off intermittently from 12-4 a.m. When we asked staff about it the next day,... More

Great place, super clean, good wifi. Monkeys in the camp are fun to watch. Walking distance to the Nakumat and the shops but you can get a pick pick for about 50 cents. There are fresh fruit and veg carts on the way to the shops. It's cheaper to do the giraffes park and elephants sanctuary if you get a... More

Stayed in two types of accommodations at Wildebeest, the cottage at $100 a night and the luxury tent with the onsuite bath at $90 a night. Maybe I picked the wrong weekend but this spot felt mediocre at best. The cottage smelled strongly of mold and it wasn't until after checking in late and getting settled in that I realized... More

What a lovely tranquil spot. Booked into an ensuite Garden Room on my arrival into Nairobi from the UK. As a solo female traveller, it felt safe and secure. The team on reception had waited up for my arrival. Breakfast was yummy. There is a lovely balcony for the restaurant/bar and a gorgeous swimming pool. Wifi was available in the... More

I have been visiting this venue since it opened and have watched it grow in stature. This is a real home from home. The tents are brilliant. The beds are so comfortable, their breakfasts are lovely especially the pancakes and the facilities great. Now they have a swimming pool which is the icing on the cake. The staff are really... More

I stayed at the Wildebeest Eco Camp in one of the rooms. The room was simply furnished and comfortable. My room had a fridge which was great for keeping my drinks cool. However, it could have been cleaner. I do think a kettle could be provided in the rooms as it is a bit of a trek to the restaurant... More

Wow! We have been in this camp, followed a recommendation by wonderful management of Mocco Beach Villa, of Kendwa, Zanzibar. The camp offer all type of accommodation, my self I enjoyed stay at the budget one, small African feelings. Beautiful restaurant, nice pool (natural) night life make you real feel african harmony. I recommend, it is a place to stay... More
