We arrived very late, the place is quite secluded and very scenic. We enjoyed ourselves that we didn't want to check out. Downside was the WiFi, cold shower and "breakfast included". We will be going back and would recommend it but with lower expectations.

Upon arrival I was blown away by how pretty the site is. I stayed in a private permanent tent with private bathroom first night then moved to a dorm. It's very clean, but gets very cold at night, they need more bedding, especially for the beds in the dorm right under the open part of the tented roof, I froze.... More

Stayed at Wildebeest several times for overnight stays travelling solo and as a couple - large range of accommodation from basic camping to luxury tents - very reasonably priced - and I was able to organise a taxi through the camp to get to/from the airport. Couple of times I have stayed, there has been a power outage, meaning that... More

It wasn't so easy to find accommodation next to Nairobi. We were not disappointed. The staff was helpful, we had one of their tent with beds and everything was well organized and really clean. The place itself is lovely and it was a good start point for our roundtrip all over Kenya.

i had no idea what to expect when I arrived at wildebeest. it had been booked as part of my overland tour by the travel company. I was pleasantly surprised. I arrived in the middle of the night and after a bit of messing around to find the right bed I had a good nights sleep. when I woke up... More

As a solo traveller who had just been couped up in a tent for a month whilst driving up to Nairobi from Cape Town I don't think I could've asked for more when arriving at the wildebeest Eco lodge for actual accommodation. I treated myself to one night in their cottage which was so clean and nice and great bathroom... More

I love this place! I stayed here solo one night before my safari and missed it for the rest of my trip. The restaurant made delicious food with a good mix of traditional and western. I had a private room which was cute and clean. The grounds are spacious and relaxing. The pool was closed which was a shame.

The pool area was under some sort of renovation and not very inviting on our visit here. However the grounds are pleasant. There are budget tents and much nicer tents nearby the pool, they have their own bathrooms and are nicely furnished. The communal area has DSTV and is near to the bar/restaurant. Prices are average for Nairobi foods &... More

We stayed in a garden room at the Wildebeest Eco Camp prior to our departure for our overlanding tour. The grounds are spectacular. I was a bit sad the pool was closed when we were there but it was still pretty to look at. The restaurant serves great food at an affordable price. The room was decent. I would recommend... More

Lovely setting, especially if you like birds. Tents are a good size and set up nicely, breakfast was adequate. The only downfall was how many tents they had fitted around the grounds. It tends to be a little noisy well into the early morning with revellers and many barking dogs. Even with all that I much prefer this to a... More

Thank you so much for your review and we are happy to hear that we are still your preferred choice to stay in Nairobi. We are always working with other guests so that everyone remembers we are a 'tented camp', and to be courteous to fellow guests particularly early in the morning and later at night. But we hope that... More
