What a wonderful place to start of our self drive safari! Wildebeest Eco Camp is oasis in the bustle of Nairobi. The place feels like visiting relatives: great hospitality. Communal eating on the main terrace overlooking the pond and pool. A wide variety of accomodation fit for every budget all situated in a nicely designed park landscape We camped here... More

So, Paul and I booked a tent to stay there our first night in Nairobi when we arrived from the airport. We were booked on a safari the following morning, so this was just for one night. We planned to come back and stay there after our safari was done, but instead of staying in the tent, we booked a... More

Fabulous location convenient for the airport and highways to travel around Kenya. Good accommodation with friendly and helpful staff making your stay a pleasant and comfortable experience. There's so much to do your spoilt for choice and you can organise your Safaris from the Eco camp.

After staying at Wildebeest several times when I lived in Kenya, there was nowhere else I would consider staying on my most recent return to Nairobi. Since I last visited there have been several upgrades, including a lovely pool. Although the refurbishment of the 'basic cottage rooms' means they have now increased in price it is well worth the money... More

I spent one night here in May 2016 and absolutely loved it. All of the staff members I met were courteous, friendly, and helpful. The camp itself is beautiful--full of flowers and birds, with plenty of tables and benches if you'd like to spend some time enjoying the garden. Some other reviewers mentioned that they were bothered by the noise,... More

I am so very happy to have discovered WildeBeest Eco Camp. I had heard of it years ago but was not seeking luxury so had ignored it. But one day I heard of their camping and dorm tent options. Right within the pocketbook., so I tried it. Oh my! It is a wonderful place!! The staff is wonderful, the entire... More

Wildebeest once again was the perfect place for a stopover before going on to other Kenyan destinations. The gardens are beautiful, birds magnificent and the tents very comfortable. Bed way too hard for my taste. Alan was accommodating, food was good and they were always ready to help chose an outing. Charlie always picked us on time, thank goodness!

We stayed at Wildebeest as a jumping off point for a month vacation in Kenya, and found that exceeded our expectations. We got a private safari tent with communal bathrooms. The tent was clean and well appointed, the communal bathrooms were well maintained and the vibe was laid back. We really enjoyed the buffet family dinner as it made it... More

It's tough to get away from barking dogs in suburban E. Africa, but this place seemed to be surrounded by some all night dog parties and, you're in a tent. In addition to the noisy pups, the first night we stayed here a building alarm went off intermittently from 12-4 a.m. When we asked staff about it the next day,... More

Great place, super clean, good wifi. Monkeys in the camp are fun to watch. Walking distance to the Nakumat and the shops but you can get a pick pick for about 50 cents. There are fresh fruit and veg carts on the way to the shops. It's cheaper to do the giraffes park and elephants sanctuary if you get a... More
