Very serene, quite relaxing, refreshing and very ambient. It's out of this world. Couldn't believe such a place exist within the proximity of Nairobi and surrounded by such loads of activities to partake. Highly recommended.

Wow! Not what I was expecting at all, a small piece of heaven in the middle of a busy city. Our group arrived all at different times and some of us were delayed and quite late, they left food for us for when we arrived and were extremely welcoming! The tents are comfortable, we stayed in a dorm tent the... More

The location is very good, close to Galeria shopping complex, and with reasonable new road access to the airport. There is a large variety of accommodation, ranging from camping to luxury en-suite tents.

I really wanted to stay in the eco lodge. After spending 1 week in downtown Nairobi for a wedding I could not wait to get to this beautiful place. And it was beautiful. The setting, the tents, the other travellers. All amazing - and the food was good too. However, there were a few points, mainly with regards to service,... More

We arrived very late, the place is quite secluded and very scenic. We enjoyed ourselves that we didn't want to check out. Downside was the WiFi, cold shower and "breakfast included". We will be going back and would recommend it but with lower expectations.

Upon arrival I was blown away by how pretty the site is. I stayed in a private permanent tent with private bathroom first night then moved to a dorm. It's very clean, but gets very cold at night, they need more bedding, especially for the beds in the dorm right under the open part of the tented roof, I froze.... More

Stayed at Wildebeest several times for overnight stays travelling solo and as a couple - large range of accommodation from basic camping to luxury tents - very reasonably priced - and I was able to organise a taxi through the camp to get to/from the airport. Couple of times I have stayed, there has been a power outage, meaning that... More

It wasn't so easy to find accommodation next to Nairobi. We were not disappointed. The staff was helpful, we had one of their tent with beds and everything was well organized and really clean. The place itself is lovely and it was a good start point for our roundtrip all over Kenya.

i had no idea what to expect when I arrived at wildebeest. it had been booked as part of my overland tour by the travel company. I was pleasantly surprised. I arrived in the middle of the night and after a bit of messing around to find the right bed I had a good nights sleep. when I woke up... More

As a solo traveller who had just been couped up in a tent for a month whilst driving up to Nairobi from Cape Town I don't think I could've asked for more when arriving at the wildebeest Eco lodge for actual accommodation. I treated myself to one night in their cottage which was so clean and nice and great bathroom... More
