Just booked in for three nights, having had four nights on the East Bank. Good points, rooms clean and comfortable, and I think the best air con of anywhere we stayed. Efficient and quiet. Rooms a little on the small size - we bring cases of donations for ACE and the rooms don't have lots of storage space. However for... More

If you dine here, be extra careful to check your bill as the day after finding an error is bound to get a negative response from the owner Gamal. His reactions are always about "must check with the waiter first" even when told that good business dictates the customer is always right. We are talking only 30 LE about $4.00... More

This 11 room hotel is the best place to stay in Luxor! On the Westbank only 2 minutes walk from the public ferry landing down a quiet laneway is a wonderful place to base yourself for a visit to Luxor. The long term staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms have everything the traveller could ask for; clean, bright with... More

I stayed at El Gezira Gardens this summer and was pleasantly surprised. The rooms are clean, cleaned daily, the AC is powerful (trust me, you'll need a good AC in Luxor), and the employees are all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and had omelets, juices, coffee, bread, salad, cereal, all from fresh ingredients. They had a restaurant on... More

Me and my girlfriend stayed at the old Gezira hotel for 150 LE a night. Own balcony, really fresh cleaned rooms, AC and fan were a bit noisy but nothing we couldn't sleep through. The owner was super friendly and really respectful and told us a lot about Luxor and a little friendly gossip about the people living in the... More

Very professional establishment. 24hr room service. The pool is a decent size to have a dip in after a day of sightseeing and have a cheeky pint in the shade. Had dinner one of the nights there, large portions, decent food and prices. Value for money hotel. The power went out a few times - but not for very long... More
