This was our second visit to this hotel in three years, and we would highly recommend it. The staff is eager for its guests to feel comfortable and at home. We love that it is located on Luxor's West Bank, which is calmer and less-touristy. We ate all our meals here, as the food is excellent, and the cook, with...

This hotel is tucked away in a residential/Agricultural area in Luxor West Bank. It's a family owned business and they are doing a great job. Very friendly staff and owners. The owner is the man to ask for all the Luxor excursions. With a phone call he seems to pull it all off like clock work. Great food and roof...

I spend 4 nights in El Nakhil Hotel on the westbank of Luxor and i absolutely don't regret the decision to stay there. From the moment we stepped in we were treated in a very friendly and polite way and the whole experience with all the staff was positive. The rooms are spotless and cozy in a beautiful garden and...

This was a wonderful experience. We stayed here for three days. It was slightly off season but that made it all more special. The host/owner was extremely hospitable. Typical of all Egyptians I've met during my travels. They really appreciate the presence of tourists as it is the mainstay of many families there. They are genuine and fun to be...

Off a side-street on the West Bank, El Nakhil has no frills, but everything you need. The rooms are cool, spacious, and unique. The walled courtyard garden was lush and quiet, and is filled with birdsong in the mornings. The rooftop terrace has nice views and they serve a good breakfast - and let us linger for an extra half-day...

After staying in hotels along the western desert, we ended our Egypt trip in this hotel in the West Bank in Luxor. It was a great way to end our trip. Tucked in the quiet area, un-touristy area of Luxor, we were welcomed by the beautiful arches of the windows in the reception area. The place is very well-kept, the...

We very much enjoyed our stay at El Nakhil. The garden especially is lovely and secluded, a suntrap even in January. Helpful staff, we arrived very early in the morning by the night train from Cairo, and they let us have the room from 8 AM free of charge. We can definitely recommend this hotel!

El Nakhil Hotel is situated on the West Bank of the Nile, down a quiet alley, away from the traffic, dust and noise of the city of Luxor directly across the river. It is conveniently located for visiting Queen Hapshepsut's Temple, Valley of the Kings, Dar El Medina, Colossi of Memnon, Ramesseum and Habu Medinet. It is a 5 minute...
