This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. The facilities are on a par with larger hotels, but no pool. However guest have access to a new pool at the hotel next door. The food is excellent and a wide choice is offered. The staff are very friendly and professional.

Getting to El Nakhil involves a short bumpy urban dirt road. It was late, we were tired and our guide had never been at this hotel - had trouble finding it. It didn't look good. WRONG! This is charming family run hotel with every possible convenience. Good beds, heat and aircon, beautiful peaceful enclosed garden (except when the thousands of...

On the back streets of the West Bank, this place is quaint and good value for the price. It is about a 10 minute walk to the ferry service to take you to Luxor. The service is friendly and good, and the breakfast is basic but solid. I had one dinner here, and that was quite good. The key question...

Situated on the west bank, hidden by other buildings and hotels near Al Quarna Road. Most typical: the neatness of the hotel (oh yes, German-Egyptian management). Quite small: only 5 rooms available, but what a service ! Staff will do everything possible to help, and always with a big smile on their faces. The menu is very extended and offers...

A superb Hotel/Restaurant on the West Bank, Luxor. Our first visit last week for a European meal, We were very satisfied with the menu and the staff very friendly and helpful. The owner Salah made us feel very welcome. It is located in the centre of the village of Gezira, only a few hundred metres from the Nile.

We felt we were taking a big chance on booking a $35 USD per night (with breakfast included) hotel, but we liked the sound of the place. We were not disappointed, in fact, it was great. It has about 20 rooms on two floors, with a large second floor restaurant open to the outside. Our room on the second floor...

This was our second visit to this hotel in three years, and we would highly recommend it. The staff is eager for its guests to feel comfortable and at home. We love that it is located on Luxor's West Bank, which is calmer and less-touristy. We ate all our meals here, as the food is excellent, and the cook, with...
