Hotel is very near to centre and train station and near temples. Very good breakfast was included and freshly cooked. Very nice rooftop where to drink a beer. There is a kitchen that can be used. Staff very friendly and helpful. The owner and staff speak English and easy to get local knowledge. Nice restaurant and the old market are right close outside nearby great to visit. Have friendly cats too and kittens.
This is good hotel near to bus station, train station and Egiptian market and the room was very clean. I can do the shipper tour and enjoy the time. You can ckeck in at any time in the morning the hotel has good roof where you can have a cold bear. The hotel has free washing machine and use the iron at any time. The hotel has cooler to put water and A/C Is good. I can recommend this hotel for all traveler. thanks for the owner.
Near to the station and close to almost everything. The breakfast is really good, the fruits are fresh. The owner makes it easier for you, handful, kind, tries to get the best all the time. Hot air balloon ride also very cheap!
It is a good hostel, close to the best temples in the city, close to the metro station and offers help with other tours, such as the hot air balloon and others. It has wifi, air conditioning, good food, a kitchen to use and an area to get some fresh air. It is close to the local markets of the city, and the staff that works is attentive to tourists.
My friend and I stayed at this hotel for two nights. The owner is very charming and funny, but he is a smiling assassin. He will do anything for you, but over charge for it as well. I don't use the word lightly, but he stole from myself and a friend. He said he could get us a train ticket to Cairo that wasn't the sleeper train, and save us money. We paid upfront like he asked. About 10 mins before we set off the the train station, he said he couldn't get train tickets (we checked later and still train tickets available, but has got us a bus if we leave now. He got to to the bus station and gave tickets to the driver. It was when the driver passed them to us we realised he has overcharged us E£400. We paid for tickets to Alexandria, but the coach only took us to Cairo. It soured our stay in Luxor. It cheap, but not when he is ripping you off. Please avoid this place. He also preasures people into doing reviews before they have left, in front of him. Don't do it and say you will write it afteryou leave. Watch your wallet, know the price of things and don't let people overcharge you, which they will try to do everywhere in Luxor.…
Hotel location is a great base for exploring the city, however the owner screwed me over. Gave him 1000 Egyptian pounds for him to book me 2 train tickets to Alexandria, as he states he can get the tickets cheaper than tourists.. He kept telling me he is trying his best to book the train and in the end ushered me out of the door and quickly onto his friends motor cycle who took me to a bus station and bought 2x 300 Egyptian pounds bus tickets to Cairo and wouldn't give me the tickets until I gave him a tip.. Total rip off. I paid to go to Alexandria, and then had to pay to go to alexxandria again after the bus dropped me in cairo. The owner was also very keen for me to write a review before i left and was putting pressure on me every time he saw me. Avoid!!!
Very welcoming owner, good location, free food during Ramadan and rooms with AC which is needed in the Luxor heat. Highly recommended ded if you visit this historic city, with views of downtown Luxor. Marina
If your looking for a traveller experience this is your place! A* customer service from Mohammed for tour information, the breakfast was great from ibrahim and was quite big! Luxor temple and Karnak temple right on your doorstep along with the train station and bus station. Couldn’t really ask for more came with no expection and left feeling incredible welcomed to the culture. Thank you all.
We have really enjoyed our stay at Venus. The owner, Hassan, and all his staff are welcoming and helpful. The whole place is kept spotlessly clean and the clean bed linen and towels always smell fresh. Breakfast is a good variety: fruit, bread, cheese, jam, eggs, yoghurt, tea or coffee. Our room was bright and light with a small balcony. There is a nice roof terrace where you can sit in sun or shade, with tables, chairs and sunloungers. The location is very convenient. The station and the public ferry to the West bank are both walkable from here. Luxor Temple is close by. It is beside the market. We definitely recommend Venus.
I went to the city of magic, beauty and culture So I decided to stay in a hostel near the beautiful places But the house is not wanted in every way Old, dilapidated inn The rooms are not clean I booked a room facing the street It's too loud outsidEarly in the morning we were served breakfast consisting of baked eggs Yogurt, etc It was good but the tea was served to us and the cup was not clean The sound is very loud in the kitchen where there is an old tap Also, the bathrooms in the room are a bit worn out and cramped very The sheets are not clean smoking smell I just got out, but I can't come back So I found someone had entered the room while I was outside How is that? Some of my belongings were locked How do I allow people to enter my room? And I'm abroad So I informed the owner and manager They replied that no one would allow him and there are no self-portraits It was off Beware of lining up those who were unclean It was actually the first time this happened owner. He talks to us about things It was important to us in the price It overlooks how to extract Money by selling tours And leave us some Send us someone from the hotel He makes expensive tours And doing a nomination for myself And that might sell alcohol for us I don't do it if I leave the hotels for another hotel fear of them The hotel is next to them They really are unfamiliar Even guide me some line up Tariq is called to the last hotel e and noise…
