Though the place has a very good location, the room size it really small and needs better maintenance. The condition really needs better masterplan to revive the whole place. I know the place is not expected to raise the bar unless you are a budget traveler.

When we stayed in late August there were very few tourists in Luxor (a great time to visit!) and this hotel like others was almost empty. Standard tourist hotel rooms but more than fit for purpose with good a/c and tv. Breakfast was simply given to you with no choice thanks to Covid so not the buffet you might have usually had. We ate in town in the evenings. Really good views out over the Nile and perfect for sunsets. The pool, floating on a barge on the Nile, is very impressive and large. The pool bar was closed (no business) but the main hotel bar was open. 10 minutes walk to Luxor Temple to the north and 15 minutes to the tourist restaurants the south, so a good location.

Over the years we have stayed in many Hotels but this has been an unforgettable stay. From the moment we checked in all through our stay, until we check out we were completely embraced by the friendlyness and hospitality that was reflected at all levels from management to reception and services staff. We felt very much at home. Our room 403 was comfortable, spacious and clean with beautiful Nile view from our Balcony and the hotels location is just Brilliant right close to Luxor Museum from where we could easily take a ferry to the west bank. The breakfast buffet was excellent with many choices to suit every ones need & some nice restaurants in the viciniy to eat in the evening. Our special thanks goes to Marina from customer service Kassim in the breakfast lounge who took good care of us every day.

The view was incredible and the pool out on the Nile River was impressive. Although the front desk guy was a bit rude, condescending, and unaccommodating, the hotel manager walked up and made up for the guy's rudeness. The manager was wonderful, friendly, and forced the rude desk guy to be accommodating. We would like to return to this hotel; the rest of the staff was friendly, the area is beautiful, and being right on the water made it extra special.

Truly great experience. My favorite day in Luxor was a day we stayed at the hotel and lounged by the pool and enjoyed their hospitality. The view is amazing and incredibly peaceful. Thw garden is well maintained and plenty of seating. Breakfast was delicious. Don't expect little things like water or anyone going above and beyond, but it was great. Outside the hotel, honestly I would NEVER return to Luxor - but Iberotel made it tolerable.
