I spent 3 nights in Iberotel Luxor. It isn't a new hotel & could do with a bit of a spruce up but was generally quite clean. As with most Egyptian Hotels the bed mattresses were very firm. Many of the rooms face out over the Nile, mine faced down the main street (the Corniche) that borders the Nile. The... More

We stayed in this hotel instead of our usual one .. as this was nearer town . It was a nice choice . the Lady receptionist .. ( sorry ive forgotten her name ) was so lovely , and helpful . we upgraded to a Nile view room and this really was worth the little bit of extra expense ..... More

Not sure where the people who stayed on an all inclusive basis recently but I doubt it was at the Iberotel in Luxor. I realise that mid May is a quieter time for tourism in Luxor, but not how quiet! At times we were the only people at breakfast. Other days there were a few Egyptians staying. In 2 weeks... More

The best thing in the hotel was the front office representative "Mohamed Mansour" and the waiter "Khaled" in the Resturant and during breakfast. Don't ever try to reserve a room on the back view, it is very noisy! The rooms need renovation, TV was very old, TV channels were few, there is a kittle in the room but no tea... More

We have visited this hotel many times and once again it did not disappoint. We went all inclusive and the staff were first class. With a Nile view room the views were stunning, the service was excellent. The food was plentiful and although a lot was local cuisine every taste was catered for. The rooms were spacious and cleaned efficiently... More

From arrival to departure it was all faultless. A River Nile view is a must. All the staff work so so hard in every way from front of house to the gardeners. So well done everyone. Food was lovely. Special mention to both the pools guys who really took care of us. For the people who worry about going to... More

The hotel is comfortable with good service. You can tell its more of an old property which should be refurbished in the coming years. However the hotel has comfortable beds and a great bathroom. The reason for the lower rating is that the hotel does not offer good free wifi throughout its property. You are limited to 120mb on the... More

If your well travelled and astute by nature you'll quickly pick up on the undercurrent of the whole area And for the faint of heart your first taste of " the tourist Exp " in a luxor street can be a nightmare . The hassle from vendors can get your temper up ( the first time), esp if like me... More

We spent another wonderful time with the staff at the iberotel luxor, a pure coincidence, a couple that were there the same time last year, we thoroughly enjoyed their company. I can not say enough about the staff and how welcome they make you feel. It's so sad that Thomson are not flying to Luxor until November, it's such a... More
