The pictures are true! It's so nicely decorated. Clean and bright. In a quiet location on the edge of the village, close to a horse stable and farm fields. Cheery rooms with clean bathrooms and comfortable beds. Wonderful rooftop terrace for breakfast and views of the Valley

Views from the roof over the valley luxor temple are really great. Breakfast is good, owner is friendly but felt a little pushed into taking a tour (we didn't take it and did our own thing which is what we usually do), it's in walking distance from the ferry across the river. We

Hi! We didn’t have a problem but we also didn’t say if we were or weren’t married. They didn’t ask and we didn’t share. I wore a ring though (just a small pandora one). We don’t have the same last name and if they referred to me as his wife I just said I was. The booking was even under my last name not his. So to answer your question... we had no problems and they didn’t ask for a certificate. It’s their businesses loss if they turn you away.

You didn't mention if the journey was r/t from Luxor to Aswan. However, train is a viable option for both o/w and r/t passages. If you are making Luxor your base of operations and are interested in making the Aswan journey in one day r/t local taxi service from Luxor is possible to do in one day r/t and stop at other temples en-route departing early a.m. If going by taxi conform they have the appropriate licenses. Hurghada to Luxor option would be bus.
