Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel! Clean and comfortable rooms with polite and helpful staff. Excellent traditional food! Has wifi but don't expect all the time. The village is a good chance to see traditional style village, camels walking around and buy local spices and scarves without too much hassle.

Booked hotel but was closed when I visited. Orbitz and the hotel refused to refund my money stating I failed to call in advance to confirm. Hotel was closed so no one answered. Very disappointed/dismayed at the treatment I received from Orbiz and the Ouanty Ka. It is very rundown so I can't figure out what the fuss is about...

breakfast is good, although if you go on excursion, you have to be clear about the time, rooms are little small, and loud airco. The diner was also verry good, and the walk in the local village is verry nice, also the camel trip in wadi babar is highly recommanded, and off course philae island, and a trip in the nile,

If you are in Aswan and you like the Nubian food, don not hesitate to pass by this Nubian house for a lunch with a great peaceful view . For a better experience , you have to try the higher terrace and avoid the local holiday periods as the entire area is very busy and not as peaceful as usual
