After riding through desert all day, riding into the greenery of Aswan was an awesome experience. Then checking into the Helnen, going to my room and looking out over the Nile... man, well worth the trip. And this hotel, is possibly the best in town!

Stayed here one night as part of a tour. The hotel itself is very nice. Majority of the ground floor rooms opened onto a patio area with a pool which overlooks the nile. Nice staff. Restaurant was fine. A major let down was there seemed to be a private fuction outside with live music and many guests. The music was...

The hotel by the Nile side in Aswan was giving a lot of peace. The hotel was found clean. The room was of good size. The food was good. The staff were found friendly and helpful. There was a good hall for conferences. The hotel was more than a 4-star hotel. I had an upper floor room with a fabulous...

The hotel is well located. The rooms are big a but a litle bit old. The major problem is that they dont have wi fi at the rooms and they a litle bit noisy. The breakfast is good, with a big variety. The staff is nice but not so friendly as i could expect.

We stopped here for one night as part of our tour to Abu Simbel so we did not get full use of the hotel. But what we did us was very well looked after and the rooms were clean and spacious. The building is stunning and I wouldn't have minded staying longer!

Only stayed in this hotel for one night as we were boarding the cruise liner the following day. Our room was not in the main hotel building but in the rooms across the road next to the swimming pool. These rooms are accessed via a private tunnel from the main hotel reception. These hotel rooms were well maintained and each...

At first appearance the hotel gives an impressive look, situation on the Nile, with nice view around, staff is courteous. Rooms and Bathrooms need lack maintenance and need to be done on the immediate basis, Free Internet is available only in lobby. No basic things like kettle in rooms. Restaurant service is slow with limited choice, Breakfast served is decent...

The good was the room across the street that faced the Nile and the pool. The lobby bartender was very nice and customer service oriented. The bad was the bartender near the pool who charged me double the listed amount for a beer.

Appearances are good for this hotel. The room, bed, & facilities were clean with no worries & for a short duration stay that is what matters. The staff was friendly with my limited interaction. Since a short stay I just didn't have the time to take advantage of it's options to fully review well. I would've enjoyed another day there...
