the hotel needs a major renovation as it is quite run-down. however, the staff are very friendly and helpful. they prepared take away breakfast for me on the morning when I need to catch the transportation to abu simbel at 4am.

Memnon was the best place for me.
I stayed one night in Keylany hotel, but switched the next morning. I didn't enjoy the construction yard I was sleeping on.
The price is a bit higher for the cheapest rooms, but it's worth it.
