I think it's the cheapest hotel with a nile view in Aswan. It's located in the heart of Aswan but the entrance is from the back of the building and the hotel is located in the second floor. The staff is very friendly, little bit talkative but if u don't know arabic I think it wouldn't be a problem for...

Me and my boyfriend stayed at this hotel for a week whilst waiting for the ferry to Wadi Halfa in Sudan. Place is adequate for the price (double room for 140E£ a night). Interior is old but room was tidy. Taps in bathroom were leaking and shower was open(common in Egypt)so we had always wet floor there. Place smelled of...

Unfriendly, unhelpful, and unclean. That's a bad combo for a hotel. We checked in despite a gruff 'welcome' but checked right back out after we find filthy sheets. You can do much better in Aswan for the money, we did only 200 metres away. The place keeps a star for its Nile views, but everyone on the Corniche has those...

Memnon was the best place for me. I stayed one night in Keylany hotel, but switched the next morning. I didn't enjoy the construction yard I was sleeping on. The price is a bit higher for the cheapest rooms, but it's worth it. Nice view on the Nile, yet noisy street. But clean, private bathroom, (limited) breakfast, friendly personnel, Their...

We showed up here when the first hotel we planned on going was closed for renovations. It is well located, and was basic ad great. The Nile view room we first got was large, with AC, a fridge and shower but we had such a hard time sleeping even WITH earplugs, that we changed rooms to a back room where...

Entrance a bit hidden but once you know where its okay. Rooms not too bad for the price, if you need a good clean place just for sleepand shower then its ample, breakfast minimal, boiled egg and bread roll with butter and jam.

Me and my friends stayed 2 nights at the memnon hotel as part of a 4 week trip to Egypt in January. On first approaching the entrance I was a little concerned as it appears very run down. That being said we had a nice stay. Staff were friendly, rooms were okay and the lobby has a nice place to...

Look, this place is okay, it's somewhere to sleep, and it's cheap enough I guess. There are better options in Aswan but then again these better options probably cost about 4 times more. Staff were friendly and when we were trying to talk to a women who obviously didn't speak much English she told us to wait while she got...

the hotel urgently needs a complete renovation and a bath. Although the staff didn't dominate english language, they were very friendly and helpful, and organized our trip to Abu Simbel, for a very cheap price.

They kindly sent a the taxi for us at the airport since the taxis waiting over there didn't accepted to drive for the normal price of 55pounds. Those idiots drove empty back to Aswan since we were the last fly. The very simple brekfast reflects the poor room's condition . We had a room with great view on the Nile....
