The hotel is in an area that obviously had lots of money spent on it developing, but has since been abandoned (probably due to the political unrest). Dirty, abandoned hotel. Bad food. The rooms are not clean. The food is terrible. Bread at breakfast is 2 days old. The Solaimaneyah region is abandoned and the hotels are empty. They look like a war zone. The swimming pool is dirty and abandoned. No beer or wine. terrible.

This is great place for conferences and events. Lots of privacy and great facilities. Make sure you get a room with a view over the pool. It's not for people who want to constantly access Cairo. It's for people who want to stay away from it all. Shuttle to pyramids and museum can be organized.

Worst football playgrounds ever, with some spine plants that injured our legs. Super expensive water bottles, 13 LE for 1.5 liter of water. Finally ... housekeeping stole our friend's stuff which he forgot in the room after checking out.
