I actually stayed there in 2007,it is located one street from the nile , near the ramuses hilton mall (which has cinema/food court, shops, it's nice modern shopping mall), on the corner is a convienience store, near by is a large supermarket, internet place and some food takeouts,be wary of the shop owners down the street who can be dodgy,I found...

We stayed in 3 different rooms on 4 different nites, and there is a variety as some are being updated, It's close to the Sheritan, for a good deal changing dollars into E pounds, close to a great grocery store that has everything like 3 big bottles of water for a dollar, local chips cheap. a fantastic and cheap resturant...

Having stayed at this hotel four or five times, I am pleased that the number of generally positive comments have increased but a bit confused by the "casino" in Trip Advisors’ listing. I was last there in June and saw no evidence of high-rollers using the occasionally erratic elevators. There is a casino in a nearby hotel and a disco...

I stayed in the Pharaoh for several nights on a group tour on two separate occasions, with varying quality of rooms. Both times, the rooms were clean and neat and everything was in working order except in the first room the fridge didn't work. The only difference between the two rooms is the decor was slightly nicer in the second...

I found an old receipt from when I stayed here - I would have never remembered the hotel's name, otherwise. I believe it was during Ramadan that all the Saudi's were coming down to Egypt. I'd been staying at the Nile Hilton but I was just booking it day by day, so when there were no rooms available anymore, I...

We stayed at the Pharaohs Hotel as part of a tour group on 3 separate occasions over a 15 day period and stayed in 3 different rooms. We have slept in better beds, the fridge in one of the rooms that we stayed in worked and the air conditioning in all 3 rooms was too noisy to use. The hotel...

We stayed at this hotel 2 nights as a part of an organized tour. I was not expecting much because it was slammed on this website, but I was pleasently surprised. Compared to the Windsor, it was much cleaner and had better locking mechanisms on the door. The breakfast was buffet style with quite a few more options then the...

My son and I were part of a Geckos Treasures of the Nile tour and stayed here for 3 nights on two separate occasions. I found it clean, some bathrooms a bit cramped, some doors to balconys locks not working, some power points a bit dodgy and fridge not working but hey - staff were great - I did not...

We slept there for one night and will never go back. Bugs all over the room, especially on the toilet. Once we asked for cleaning service they arrived very late at night and we kick them out. Of course the day after they are all expecting a tip from us.
