One of the great hotels of the world. Mena House has history, excellent service, the beauty of the area and great food. If you want the "pyramid experience" this is your place. My husband celebrated his 60th birthday by going to Egypt and to wake up and see the pyramids made it complete.

This booking was made by myself as a special treat for my daughter, I had previously stayed in the hotel around 12 months ago. On arrival the reception staff were efficient but not particularly welcoming, on arrival at our booked room we were disappointed to find a mistake had been made and we were being put in a double room...

I live in Cairo, and have visited the pyramids, but I wanted to just soak up the historic atmosphere for 24 hours. Mena House was everything I wanted. Quiet, lovely, friendly service, green grass, trees and the most amazing views. The food is good, the pool and health spa are fun and nothing was too much trouble for the staff....

We have stayed in Mena House before and we're impressed by the friendliness of the staff and the excellent amenities. This time however,we were disappointed by the nonchalance of the reception staff and the outright rudeness of the waiters during our evening meal. I had rung to book a table and was told there was no need for reservations. We...

Mena House offers several rooms which have spectacular views of the pyramids. The views and the grounds are lovely. The architecture and basic interior design is superb. However, while it is awaiting its overhaul by Marriott, its amenities are going downhill - broken hairdryer, shower not working, etc. The food is just average. Bring your swimsuit. There is a wonderful...

Mena House Hotel's location, gardens, views, and other offerings, are superb. We shopped around Giza before going and Mena did not disappoint. This is a hotel with excellent service, food, and the grounds and views are just magnificent. The location is extremely near the pyramid plateau and we had a very easy time arranging for a horseback tour of the...

We arrived late in the evening and, by the spotlights of a wedding party taking place in the grounds, we could just see the vague outline of the Great Pyramid. In the morning the view of the pyramids from our balcony was just breath-taking. Nothing had prepared us for their sheer size; reading statistics is just not the same! Such...

We stayed at the Mena House in Cairo and thoroughly enjoyed the location. The food was wonderful along with the room but the best part was the view of the Great Pyramids at Giza from our balcony. Breathtaking, waking up to it every morning.

This hotel was just as we had imagined. We didn't have a pyramid view from our room but the garden and pool view we had was beautiful. The reception staff were helpful however we did find the waiter staff very slow and not particularly helpful but besides that we had a fantastic two days exploring the pyramids and the Cairo...
